Hotel charges our 6 day stay to the credit card as soon as we check in. Have to request full cleaning service of room as if they are in Covid cleaning mode. And you get full cleaning every other day. They are charging full price for the rooms. On the fourth day of our stay we came back to our room after dinner and it was not serviced at all. I went to the front desk and got towels. The person behind the counter said someone would bring K cups and drinking cups up to the room. That never happened. The day when we come back to the room I saw the cleaning person working on a room past ours. Ours was not serviced yet. So i went and asked the lady if she was going to do our room. She asked if we needed service. I replied it has not been serviced in two days. Finally it got serviced. Service is terrible at this hotel and will not stay here again.

My poor mother drove 18 hours to check in. No courtesy call letter us know that there was an issue with our payment option. Instead of calling they canceled my reservation and insulted my mother's appearance as "something wrong with her?" She just drove 18 hours!!! So yeah be ready for no heads up and an angry mother!! Thanks Holiday Inn!!!

Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express and Suites Oakhurst Yosemite Area , a host to one of the most prominent National Parks, Yosemite National Park . Find comfort with us and adventure just a short, scenic drive away! We are surrounded by Yosemite National Park, Bass Lake Water Recreation, Golf Courses, Fine Dining, Historic Museums, and much more!
The hotel website states parking is available, and deceptively puts an arrow to click which states the $12 price for a Holiday Inn Express in small town California. What a joke. To add insult to trickery, the room was dirty, stained carpet in multiple areas of room,, dirt build up in bathroom, dirty walls and stain build up in shower stall. Take the $12 you steal for parking and clean your rooms. While you're trying to meet minimum standards, up grade your pathetic breakfast and room. All in all the worst, by far, Holiday Inn Express I've ever encountered. If you want pictures I'll be glad to send in support of my claims.

The hotel staff accused me and my wife of smoking in the room. This absolutely did not happen. We allowed the night staff and then the day staff to come and inspect our room. They didn’t find any evidence that the room had been smoked in, because it hadn’t. Even without any evidence to the contrary, they asked us to leave, and are still in the process of trying to collect a smoking fee from us. Had a work colleague who was also staying here, and had a box stolen out of his truck with thousands of dollars worth of gear in it. He was told they had cameras, but could never even get anyone from hotel management to talk to him. Forget this hotel. And I will be filing a lawsuit against the hotel for the smoking fee and the difference in the price of the room I had to live to in another hotel. Sleep in your car before you stop here!

Close to local attractions and businesses, the Hotel Indigo® Chicago Vernon Hills hotel is perfect for any trip, business or pleasure. To put it plainly, our rooms are “huge,” each with its own sitting area, and our staff is passionate about providing each and every guest with personalized service. The nearby Cuneo Mansion and Gardens serve as inspiration for our hotel’s artwork, and the whole space evokes an upscale feel, with a front desk that occupies a two-story lobby: expansive, but not at all unwelcoming. The indoor heated pool is relaxing, and our martini bar serves up 25 special versions of the cocktail.
Overall the hotel is old and has had minimal upgrades, and what it has received are cosmetic. Beds are uncomfortable, showers are too small and water pressure is poor.

I've stayed at this hotel while travelling through and was so disappointed during my last stay. Room: AC made bizarre beeping noise constantly, had to shut off. Speaker outside my room in the courtyard played loud music all night. Minimal towels in bath. Restaurant: dinner food was good but served cold, as server was busy with friends and super innatentive (and we were the only people there). Breakfast was fine.

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay at Hotel Indigo from May 4th to May 5th, 2025. I booked the stay through IHG, and I am also an IHG employee. My wife, who is pregnant, and I arrived at the hotel around 1:00 AM for a late-night check-in. Despite having a confirmed reservation, we had to wait nearly two hours to check in because the night staff claimed they couldn’t find our booking.
The two night shift employees, a young woman who appeared to be of Indian origin and a man who also looked Asian, were extremely rude and unprofessional. They repeatedly told us there was an issue with our booking and suggested that we either cancel it or find another hotel. This is completely unacceptable behavior, especially toward a pregnant guest arriving in the middle of the night.
Eventually, they did find the reservation in their system, but by that time, it was already 2:30 AM. This is not how guests should be treated, especially by staff who represent the IHG brand. As someone who also works as a receptionist for IHG, I can say with confidence that this level of service falls far below our standards. I always try to accommodate guests and resolve issues with courtesy and professionalism — something that was severely lacking here.
I strongly urge the hotel management to provide immediate training in guest service, manners, and discipline to their night staff. I expect much better from an IHG property.
