Welcome to avid hotel Milwaukee West - Waukesha!
You will find our modern hotel off I94-E on the southwest corner of Meadow Lane and Marshview Street.
During your stay you can expect clean, comfortable, contemporary accommodations and convenient on-site amenities, Including a modern 24-hour Market, fitness center, business center, and complimentary good all-round breakfast. In town for business, sports, or school? Our hotel is a quick drive to many facilities, such as GE, Pattyn, ProHealth Care, INNIO Waukesha Gas Engines, Center Court Sports Complex, and Carroll University. To top it all off, we are less than 3 miles from the Waukesha County Airport and Waukesha County Expo Center. Now that's what we call convenience!

We stayed here for 2 nights recently.
Very nice hotel.
All of the staff were exceedingly friendly.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well furnished. Nice shower.
Breakfast was adequate. All options are easy to grab and go.

Excellent Hotel
Yes, I recommend this property.
We were there for the weekend. The room was a suite so nice to spread out. I had to do some things for work so lots of room.
The room was clean, staff friendly. Breakfast was good. Lot of hot choices.
The only thing, they have prefilled bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. I noticed, when staying at Holiday Inn at least one container is usually empty. Doesn't do me any good when I am in the shower.
Overall a great experience, would stay again.

Sub Par Experience
No, I do not recommend this property.
We love Holiday Inn Express and tend to seek them out. I know we are coming out of a pandemic but we did not have a pleasant experience at our hotel.
We stayed Wed-Sunday. The 1st day we noticed that the conditioner in the shower was empty and the shampoo only had a small amount. We brought it to there attention but nothing was done. We ended up buying our own. The cleaning crew did not speak English so she did not understand what we needed. Plus, she was always busy chatting on her phone.
They don't clean rooms everyday. They should inform you of this at check in. We had to chase down for towels everyday. And also bring our garbage out to be dumped.
One roll of toilet paper is provided. We ran out.
Breakfast is limited grab and go. Other Holiday Inn's are back to full hot breakfast.
Baseball teams were staying there. When we went to do laundry they were hanging out in there. They would push all the buttons in the elevator. It was annoying.
We learned our lesson to read reviews on hotels before booking.
We were very disappointed in our stay.
We paid a premium price to stay here for sub-par service. We are traveling a lot this summer. Before I book another Holiday Inn Express I will read the reviews.

It's okay
Yes, I recommend this property.
We were here a few weeks ago. The property is not as good as other Holiday Inns we have stayed at.
We were on the 2nd floor. Above us was a very noisy child who ran around and jumped until midnight. The walls are paper thin and we could not sleep. Thankfully they were only there on Friday night.
The thin walls are horrible. We could hear everyone walking down the hall.
Also this was a get away for our 43rd wedding anniversary. My wife in having knee replacement. The toilets are very low to the ground. It was hard for my wife to use the toilet and caused a great deal of pain. }
The breakfast area is set up weird. We didn't eat but wanted some hot tea. The machines are where you walk into the breakfast area. Causing a bottleneck and people getting angry that they could not get around.
Staff was friendly and the blackout curtains were great.
Probably would not stay here again because of the noise level.

Clean and Quiet, Friendly Staff
Yes, I recommend this property.
Very nice hotel. The area around it was very quiet. The staff was very friendly. Julie, the front desk clerk, was outstanding. She switched our room to the top floor because she felt it woudl be quieter. She was friendly and talkative. Asked questions and was so pleasant. When we checked out the next day she called out to us as we were leaving.
Our room was spacious, very clean and quiet. Our stay was outstanding and we woudl come back again.
My only disappointment was no Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast. Was so looking forward to them.

Yes, I recommend this property.
We were very impressed with the property. It was very clean and quiet. Everyone was very friendly. We will stay there again. It was close to Madison and great shopping.
My only complaint is breakfast. I miss the old cinnamon rolls. Also all week we get saying we couldn't wait to have biscuits and gravy, it is our travel indulgence. They had the biscuits but were not serving gravy along with it. Darn. Also when we ate breakfast was not crowded and they had 2 staff but still did not have bacon refilled when were there.
