The bathroom had rust all around the door frame from top to bottom- and the bed had blood on it. We were able to move 1 of 2 rooms. The staff didn’t seem very surprised that we had this issue which seems concerning. Very disappointing for this hotel brand. I will never stay here again.

My brother stayed Staybridge in Corning NY for the night and left his necklaces here. Upon returning the staff was combative and would not assist with the matter and alleged the room was rented. The local police were called and initially denied access to the room. Eventually the staff allowed the officer into the room which no one was staying and the necklaces were gone. The staff refused to assist further.
I hope the hotel likes the publicity from a Sponsored Facebook ad about this.

Booked room for 3 nights. Checked into our room and spent the night. Went to work the next morning, when we came back for the second night someone else was in our room. The front desk sold our room to someone else and said they were 100% sold out. We had to drive 30 min to another hotel. How does this happen? We paid for 3 nights. The manager needs to be fired immediately.

The elevator rarely was operational during my week long stay which caused me to walk three flights of stairs and exit outside on the sidewalk . Then you enter the front door to get to your desired destination. The fitness center had a mold smell like it had been previously flooded.

Multiple vehicles broken into in the hotel parking lot. Staff is aware of this issue and replied with “again”. Unfortunate to have driven 4 1/2 hours for a funeral and not be able to spend the night because of security reasons. Checked in at 1 then out by 8 to drive another 4 1/2 hours home.

The room could have been cleaned more thoroughly. The bathroom floor was sticky, and the round table hadn’t been wiped down well. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable. Overall, I enjoy staying at IHG properties and would stay again, but if I were staying longer, I’d definitely request a room refresh to ensure everything is properly cleaned.

Overall, the staff was so friendly, courteous, and helpful. Elevator and suite had a foul odor. Our toilet looked nasty, scratched, and was clogging, but we still managed to make things work.

So we stayed on the 9th floor even though we requested a lower level as a Platinum Member.
The adjacent buildings roofs are a nesting place for seagulls - very noisy!.
Breakfast ran out of hash browns and milk for 2 days.
Staff were apologetic however how can such an IHG hotel run out of breakfast items (we had breakfast at 7am)
The elevator was very slow so a lot of waiting to go up or down.

A modern waterside hotel close to Cardiff Bay and the city centre, with free Wi-Fi, on-site parking and included Express Start Breakfast

The manager lacked knowledge about registered assistance dogs and asked me to move so ‘dog hair from the seating area didn’t reach the buffet’. This was discriminatory. Human hair is more likely to fall into the food! Dog was no where near the buffet.
