As I mentioned on the first page, hotel was fine, but just didn't feel it was a good value. This review is a bit tedious. I went through it and had to go back and add verbiage, even though I had mentioned everything I wanted to say.

Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites of Jacksonville, IL. With a convenient location off I-72, and situated between Hannibal, Missouri and Springfield, Illinois, our hotel in Jacksonville, IL is a great choice for all travelers. If you are in town for business, you might like to know that we are just minutes from Passavant Hospital, Reynolds, Nestle, and Illinois College.
The downtown square and Hamilton’s Catering are a short drive away. Coming into the area for a game of softball or baseball? The Future Champions Sports Complex is less than 6 miles away. Jacksonville’s history is right at your fingertips when you stay with us. When we arrived, we got our keys the hotel looked like a super8. We went to our room the carpet was worn and stained, with many snags in the carpet. the beds were not comfortable. The bathroom on had two towels when I reserved the room for 3 people. The floor was peel and stick tiles, and spongy we didn't want our bare feet to touch the floor. there was no hand soap we had to go to the desk to ask for some as well as extra towels, and no tissue. The breakfast was substandard for what we enjoy at other IHG hotels.

Holiday Inn Express – In The Middle of Everything New Orleans Located in the Central Business District of Downtown , the newly redesigned Holiday Inn Express® New Orleans Downtown hotel is 2 blocks from the Mercedes Benz Superdome and Smoothie King Center, and only 3 blocks to Canal Street featuring the French Quarter. If driving to visit us, we do offer on-site parking in/out privileges for an additional charge of $34.00/night plus tax. Our comfortable and modern accommodation is your wonderful choice for both business and leisure travels. Within walking distance to almost everything a guest comes to New Orleans to see, the hotel borders the French Quarter, is in the heart of New Orleans’ Central Business District and is an ideal setting for business travelers, also home to Shell Oil Company and Entergy Corporation. Nearby, famous attractions include Outlet Collection Shopping Mall, Bourbon Street, National World War II Museum and the Children's Museum, located just a short walk away. The Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, Insectarium and Zoo are also located nearby. Dear,
when we arrived our room was not available. There was stuff of other people and the lobby did not know where these people were. In addition, there was at first no other room available due to fully booked hotel.
They send someone from service to find and clean a room which was at the time empty but not cleaned (7 in the evening). We had to wait after a flight of 13h! In addition while we were waiting other people came in, who also had a confirmed and paid booking. The person at the lobby stated that the IHG site allows overbooking and that these people should reach out to the webpage and not to her. They had no place to stay and they need to apply for a refund. In addition, I requested if she could rearrange a room in the IHG hotel 2 streets away. She told me she could not do this.
I conclude that this was not a good start of my holidays in New Orleans.
Regarding the facility; the windows are as tin as paper. While we were finally in bed it sounded like a window was open (although all was fixed and closed)and cars could be heard cristal clear.
Not really a good night of sleep.

The hotel is new, modern, clean, quiet. I did lose my key in my car, and waited almost 30 minutes for a front desk agent to come. No one ever did. I found my key in my car and another guest called the police to search the property for a potentially missing employee.

This hotel has so much potential, but our experience overall wasn't positive. The hotel & the rooms themselves are clean, the beds are fairly comfortable, but the bathroom was full of broken or semi-functional amenities (shower head, tub stopper, and diverter all had issues). Service of those amenities was delayed, the front desk was understaffed so we had to go downstairs ourselves to get replacements, and eventually moved rooms mid-stay to a room that had fewer bathroom issues.
The issues were ones I would expect from a much lower-cost hotel rather than the price we paid. Typically IHG hotels have served us well, but this one fell short of expectations, so we likely won't be staying there next time we're in town.

I’ve stayed at a number or Holiday Inn hotels and sadly, this location was the bottom of the barrel. The pool had trash all around, clumps of hair in the pool and very cloudy (couldn’t see our feet in the 3’ end). I would not stay here again.

They Manage your AC so if you like it cold GOOD LUCK!! Some how they the system knows whether your in the room or not and turns the AC off so when you walk in the door you here the thermostat click and the unit comes on. So you think it will cool off while you go to dinner NOT as soon as you leave it turns off again the biggest bunch of BS I have ever paid for in a Hotel.

My bathroom had hair on the shower walls and on the floor. I asked to have it cleaned and all they did was make the bed and change the towels. Everyday I complained and it never got cleaned to my satisfaction. The hair was on the floor all week. I was told I would get two free nights and extra points for my inconvenience. All I got was a bill for $649 on my personal card which is crazy because this room was prepaid by my company and my card was just for incidentals. On top of that my coworkers truck was Vandalized and his personal belongings were stolen from the vehicle. Police never came and the hotel security did nothing to help the situation. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Our prime Chicago location offers the best of Evanston’s dining, shopping, culture and the sports fan favorites Ryan Field to cheer on the Northwestern Wildcats and Gentile Arena to boost the Loyola Ramblers.
Our hotel’s location provides easy access to Northwestern University's campus, the Metra Purple Line, Evanston's beautiful scenic parks, and more. Our Chicago North Evanston hotel provides convenient access to public transportation, just 2 blocks from the Dempster Purple Line station and half a mile from the Main St Metra station.
Our Evanston hotel accommodations include free Wi-Fi, safe, microwave, refrigerator, Bath and Bodywork amenities, and Keurig coffee maker. Bad experience after 1st hour of my sta,. The hotel's main entrance off Sherman Ave. smelled like a rotting skunk. Once inside my room, the outlet next to the bed did not work, so no light and unable to charge my phone there. Then, the sound of loud TV banging through the shared paper-thin door between me and the neighbor in the next room. Garage entrance was filthy. Called reception, who, while cordial, said that the maintenance person had gone home for the day, and said that hotel was already overbooked and refused to change the room. If not for him, this would have been a 1-star review. Booked this hotel because of IMG's online PR that bragged that the hotel had been recently remodeled. IMG's full screen cleanliness claim was laughable. Recently remodeled? Was it a Grayhound bus station previously? My suggestion: terminate the non-existent "manager."
