- Der Aufzug wurde ausgetauscht. - Die Zimmertüre klemmte - Die Steuerung der Klima Anlage hat nicht funktioniert. - entgegen der Information bei Buchung, der Pool war doch nutzbar -Bauarbeiten, Austausch Aufzug ab morgens. Keine Reparatur, waren umfangreichere Arbeiten.
Da der Gesamteindruck des Hotels so war, haben wir uns an der Rezeption nicht gemeldet/reklamiert.
Die Bewertung muss auch nicht weiter geteilt werden, vielleicht haben Sie eine andere Möglichkeit. Wir haben bereits den nächsten Aufenthalt in einem Holiday Inn gebucht (Niagara Falls), wir hoffen hier eine bessere Qualität zu haben. Für diesen Aufenthalt könnten Sie uns etwas „Gutes“ als Ausgleich tun.

Hotel in eigentlich toller Lage (was ich zunächst nicht wahrgenommen habe weil ich von vielen Obdachlosen auf den umliegenden Parkplätzen etwas geschockt war) das Haus ist mit einem 2, Haus dem Indigo über einen Zugang durch die Tiefgarage verbunden wo es auch eine Bar und ein Restaurant gibt .das Hotel hat einen Pool ,ein gutes Frühstück und geräumige saubere Zimmer nur leider nachlässige Reinigungsdamen .Wir haben das Hotel um 10:30 verlassen um uns Austin anzuschauen und als wie um 18:30 zurück gekommen sind war das Zimmer noch immer nicht aufgeräumt. Es wurde dann umgehend eine Reinigungskraft geschickt und wir bekamen 2 Gratisdrinks in der bar des Nebenhotels .bei der Rückkehr war das Zimmer dann aufgeräumt ,die Handtücher gewechselt das Bett abgezogen ,neue Bettwäsche auf einen Sessel gelegt . Wir haben das Bett dann selbst bezogen .Was mich etwas enttäuscht hat war der unglaubliche Preis für die Parkgarage, aber ich habe mich nicht getraut das Auto auf einen öffentlichen Parkplatz zu stellen

Hotels in denen die Badezimmer keine Klobürste haben, sind mir grundsätzlich etwas suspekt.
Aber, wir hatten im Vorfeld 2 Connected Rooms angefragt (weil wir mit kleinen Kindern gereist sind) und eine Bestätigung per E-Mail von einem Hotelmitarbeiter (nicht von der IHG Reservierungshotline, sondern der internen Abteilung des Hotels!) erhalten.
Beim Check-In hörten wir 3 Aussagen, warum das nicht möglich ist: - wir hätten andere Zimmer buchen müssen (einer der Gründe warum ich mich vorher extra mit der Reservierungsabteilung abgestimmt hatte!) - wir hätten 20,- pro Zimmer pro Tag extra zahlen müssen (das hätte man ja vorher gern mal erwähnen können) - sie würden nie eine Zusage machen (das relativiert die ersten beiden Punkte) - die Bestätigungsmail wurde ignoriert
Am Ende durften wir uns glücklich schätzen, dass wir bei >700 Zimmern 2 auf der gleichen Etage erhalten haben!!!
Im Doppelzimmer gab es dann auch nur Ausstattung für eine Person (also insgesamt 1x Handtuch, 1x Bademantel). Zumindest das konnte ich aber nach mehrmaligem fragen am nächsten Tag organisieren.
Im Pool Bereich scheinen Kinder nicht wirklich gern gesehen. Es gab viele Verbotsschilder, deren relevanz aber anscheinend umgekehrt zur Größe galt. So hat das Smartphoneverbot nicht mal den Bademeister interessiert. Man fühlte sich trotzdem berufen uns auf einer großen Tafel im Kleingedruckten noch mal auf einen Passus hinzuweisen, den man nachträglich mit deinem Edding geändert hatte. Insgesamt hatten wir auf der Internetseite den Eindruck, dass das Hotel kinderfreunlich sein möchte! Das würde ich für Kinder unter 10 Jahren so nicht unbedingt bestätigen wollen.
Als Zielgruppe scheint man sich mehr auf Pool, Wellness und Fitness Freunde zu fokusieren. Weswegen man denken könnte, dass es ggf. für Paare eine gute Option ist. Da im Hotel aber gefühlt auch komplette Schulklassen anzutreffen waren, würde ich mich darauf nicht verlassen!
Wir haben Vor Ort 3x freundlich probiert die Themen zu lösen. Da man uns nicht helfen wollte/ konnte haben wir aber irgendwann entschieden, dass wir uns den Urlaub durch soetwas nicht kaputt machen lassen wollen. Beim Check-Out hat man dann noch mal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung war. Wir haben das verneint, und kurz den Hergang geschildert. Das konnte die gute Frau nicht glauben. Musste sie aber auch gar nicht mehr, wir sind gegangen.
Für alle mit einem IHG Status >= Platinum Elite: In dem Chaos beim Check-In wurden wir zwar gefragt, ob wir einen Voucher für die Bar, oder lieber die Punkte haben wollen. Aber den Voucher haben wir einfach nicht bekommen! Und als wir das im Zimmer bemerkten, war es leider zu spät (Aussage Guest Service: pech gehabt)! Also: Augen auf beim Check-IN!!!

Have tried to resolve issue with the manager, Joseph. Except Joseph will NOT return my phone calls after multiple attempts to reach him. And now conveniently will be out of town for a “business meeting” while ignoring the business of resolving the billing issue where I have been fraudulently charged for two pet fees for pets I do not own. I have two HUMAN CHILDREN.

See above regarding faulty AC system. Only option regarding the faulty AC was comp of $67 of a $274 room. Very Unacceptable for a family with 2 small children under 5 yrs of age to have to sleep in a room that was miserable, uncomfortable and very HOT.

I selected this hotel based on location and my long-time IHG membership. Additionally, I thought the Crowne Plaza was at the upper echelon of IHG properties. I was disappointed as soon as I arrived, and little improved during my stay. If I'd had the opportunity, I likely would have checked out for another area hotel, but I was already in the midst of my business trip. For starters, there was no place to temporarily park, check in, then get situated. The GPS directions lead directly to valet parking, which I did not want. The valet parking attendant told me valet parking was $18 more per night than self-parking (misinformation, as it turns out, it's $8 more per night), and she said to check in I'd have to go to the other side of the hotel - where there was no pull-in. After driving around for about 5 minutes I called the front desk, they provided little help. Ultimately, I parked in self-parking, walked a good distance to check-in, then back to the garage to discover a stranger asking my name and wanting to take a picture in case I wanted to report the flat tire I had - which, for all I know, he might have caused. At check-in I was not recognized as an IHG member or thanked, and at check-out they told me I could not get the bill emailed to me. Customer service texted me to see how things were going, then ghosted me when I expressed dissatisfaction. After my previous poor IHG experience in September last year, this might be my last stay at one of their properties.

We've stayed here before a few times on road trips. The location is good, amenities nearby. The breakfast area was kept clean and the food was kept stocked up. Check in and check out were easy. We stayed in room 224 and it was clean. The shower handle didn't stay in position, resulting in either hot or cold water, nothing in between. The glass shower doors need to be scrubbed. The hotel is slowly going downhill. The common areas are not as clean as before, the elevators look terrible, the pool has been closed forever.
