With stylish lines and spacious interiors, Holiday Inn Riyadh Business District is the First Open Lobby hotel in the Middle East in a key location in Riyadh, at the heart of the Business District, The Open Lobby concept is an innovative design that merges all public spaces into one cohesive, open area! Unlike traditional lobbies, we wanted to offer our guests an entirely new way of providing a comfortable and welcoming space where guests can feel at home and enjoy their stay on their own terms, whether they want to eat, drink, work, relax, or socialize.
The hotel is in an excellent location on Airport Road, meaning King Khalid International Airport is just 10 minutes away; Business Gate and Granada Business Park are both within 15 minutes. Also, within easy reach of Riyadh Front, for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
Expertly designed to cater to every need, the hotel has two separate entrances. The main entrance offers access to the accommodation and guest facilities, Casa Oliva an Italian restaurant, Gym and pools. The second entrance allows access to the event venues: Banquet Halls, a range of fully equipped and flexible meeting rooms, all natural light, plus pre-function spaces for coffee breaks and more.

My friend who does not speak English was charged early check in and late check out but he was not even there a full day I was also charged early check in and the hotel was empty no sense of humanity in this hotel and my American friend was taken advantage of. Terrible hosting service

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. Here are my thoughts:
What I liked:
* The hotel has been newly renovated, and the rooms are clean.
* It's conveniently located within easy walking distance to the beach, which is a huge plus.
* The pool area is nice and well-maintained.
* The breakfast offered was quite good, with a variety of options to choose from.

* There's a daily parking fee of USD 10, which feels unnecessary given the high room rates and the availability of free public beach parking just two minutes away.
* I booked a room with a King bed, but upon checking in, I was informed that they didn't have one available and was given a room with two Queen beds instead. No compensation was offered for this inconvenience.
* Despite the renovation, some functional issues in the room were apparent: the alarm clock showed the wrong time (an hour late), and the batteries for the safe were not yet inserted. The window AC unit is quite noisy and disturbs the sleep quality.

Rooms need redone, specifically the doors to the rooms. Many other guests complained about the same issue. The breakfast being served in the morning is not worth 12 bucks. They should pay us to eat it lol.....

Did not have shower amenities. Containers were there but empty..
Tried to have a conversation with the manager, but each time I went to the front desk was told that they would be in at a different time. When I showed up at that different time was told that the manager was not there and they gave me another time after five days at staying at the property. I never did have an opportunity to speak with the manager.
For the price that you pay for a property like this I’m sure that there’s much better values out there at a lower price. This was more in line with a motel six.

There was major construction going on directly below our room which was annoying enough but when I went to the front desk to ask how long it would go on, the guy said there was no way I could be hearing the work because it was in 104 and we were in 206. Rather than walk 50 feet to look, he showed me a room map.
In fact, the wall they were working on was directly below our headboard and the crew kept the door of the room open almost all the time they were using heavy power tools. I have video showing the proximity.
While our room seemed to have also been remodeled recently, there was no microwave, the door hinges were already rusty and the doors and trim were painted with flat wall paint and showed dirt.
We were so unhappy with the hotel and the staff that we left a day early.

I’m sure they will spray for them throughout the entire hotel but my room had fire ants all over the place (furniture, walls, toilet, counter tops, etc). There were also spiders/spider webs inside the gym area (probably keeping the ant population down?) that had clearly been there awhile. I didn’t notice the ants until the morning of my checkout, and when I told the staff at the counter her exact response was, “Okay.” No apology or any sense of caring. Pretty pathetic for a $160/night hotel stay.

My friends and I stayed at the Crowne Plaza French Quarter for a long weekend. The staff is lovely and very helpful - especially given the craziness of JazzFest weekend. (though beware that you'll be charged a criminal extra $25/night "Destination Fee", even on pre-paid rooms.)
My feedback, though, is specifically for Kalynn. I had to reach out a few days later due to billing issues as my pre-paid rate wasn't credited to the rooms and I'd been double-charged. Kalynn spent a great deal of time on the phone with me, tracking down the charges on my three reservations, calculating the differences of the pre-paid amounts and the additional charges, and then she credited my card for the appropriate amounts. I'm so grateful for her expertise, her time, her attention to detail, and most of all her willingness to help. When I call a billing organization I usually expect to talk to someone overworked, exhausted, and low on patience. And it's possible Kalynn was all of those things but she never once let me feel it. She was so kind and helpful. She made me feel like I was the only focus she had that day and was willing to move mountains to help. She did move those mountains and it meant so much to me. Thank you Kalynn!!

The best was comfortable and the room smelled super clean. However for a non smoking hotel the first thing we smelled when we got off the elevator was smoke. The bathtub was so slippery I was afraid to shower. The coating on the tub was also peeling off. The one bath I took I had to shower after because there were little bits all over me. We didn't eat there at all because the food prices seemed a little high to us.
