The hotel is undergoing a full refurbishment and we actually thought it was closed when we arrived. It would have helped to have some external signage on the approach. We were greeted at reception by Priya who went out of her way to give an exceptional welcome. She allocated us one of the newly renovated rooms which was beautiful. The service provided by Priya was superb. Despite the extensive works in the hotel, they still managed to deliver a very pleasant experience in the bar and restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent dinner. All of the staff that we interacted with where very courteous and friendly. Upon leaving I booked a return visit with Jose who was doing a million things at once but still managed to deliver a first class customer experience. I am looking forward to my next visit to see the hotel completed. The sleep quality and ability to relax were marked down purely to do with the noisy works in the morning
