Great place to stay in Beaumont

Took a overnight stay to get away from home and was very impressed with the overall appearance and location of the hotel. Only been opened for 3 weeks so everything looked brand new. Sometimes when you stay at a location next to the interstate it can be very noisy especially at night, but here the location set back off the freeway a good distance so no big truck traffic was heard. The manager on duty was very courteous and explained all the details needed to enjoy our stay.

Need washer and dryer

Nice hotel and very friendly and helpful staff.

Just need to put in washer and dryer . We are down here working and we are having to go to a laundromat to wash our clothes. If you go to the workout room well that means your clothes that you are wearing will need to be washed. Again great place great staff just need washer and dryer.

Great Hotel!

Staff is professional and Friendly.

Staff is professional and friendly. Hotel is new. Located right off I-10. Very clean lobby, rooms, and grounds. Very well lit parking lot! (This is usually a problem at other properties in Beaumont) overall a nice clean hotel with a friendly staff.

The only problem was the lack of Air conditioning in the elevators and hallways. It was like a Sauna. Im talking approaching 85-90 degrees. This should not be an issue with a brand new hotel! I checked other floors and they were all very hot with no air. If this was taken care of I would come back frequently. However, breaking a sweat going from the lobby, to the elevator, to the room is a deal breaker for me. I would give them an A+ overall if not for the air problems. So as of now, B-.

Not what I was expecting

The floors had stuff all over them. The hallways and elevators were hot. The same garbage sat in hallways and by elevators are entire stay. Are room was 94 degrees when we walked into it.The curtains were wide open as well with the sun shining right in . It was at least 95 all weekend. The best part about the stay was the guy working the counter. He was very friendly and helpful suggesting places to go. He also gave me my pop for free because I was hot because of the room.

Dirty floor and smell in room and terrible breakfast.

We (my husband and I) were Very disappointed in the terrible smell in our room of sewage, the floor in our room very dirty and sticky.
The Breakfast was Terrible and the lady that served us our breakfast could hardly understand our English.
The Young man at the front desk was Great! He was the only thing good!

Terrible beds

Hard uncomfortable beds, awful pillows. The tub had hair and dirt in it. The smell was terrible. We had to use our own cleaning spray and sanitizer to wipe off bathrooms and spray for clean smell. Just unhappy with stay and feel that the price I paid was way over priced for the quality.

Second stay and very disappointing

This property is going thru renovations but none of the problems we had were related to the renovations. Location is fine - food and shopping are reasonably close.

The hotel is old and while the lobby update is going well the hallways and rooms are "musty". The king bed was okay and we slept well - except the fact that I did kill two very small bugs crawling on me after going to bed. Not good !

I traveled for a living and stayed at hundreds of different hotels - most of the IHG properties. This property was a huge disappointment sad to say.
