The Holiday Inn Express & Suites VA Beach Oceanfront hotel oceanfront attracts vacationers, students, military and business guests alike. Our oceanfront hotel sits on the surfside of Virginia Beach, offering direct access to the boardwalk and sandy shores of Virginia Beach, VA. Hotels on the oceanfront aren't hard to come by, but few compare to our 100% nonsmoking facility. With the Virginia Beach Fishing Pier, parasailing, bicycle and boat rentals and more, there's plenty of fun in the sun to go around. The Virginia Aquarium, IMAX Theater, Ocean Breeze Waterpark and venues like Veterans United Home Loans Amphitheater are just around the corner as well. Leisure guests love having convenient access to not only the beach, but also to attractions in the Hampton Roads area. I have stayed at this location on several occasions and was very disappointed with this stay. The rooms aren't in the best condition and appear to be getting run down. The patio door wouldn't even open on one of the rooms, the water was running in the bathroom continueously. The patios don't look like that had been cleaned in a while. I know this is a heavy traffic area but you have to keep the maintenance up. I will not be staying there again. When asked for my receipt was told it was on line only to discover when I went on line they said go back to the hotel. Get it together. However, the staff was great.

Our hotel is located in downtown Columbus, Ohio. Situated in the heart of Columbus, Ohio, this hotel's location is close to everything! We have stayed at this hotel several times because of its location to my daughters school, but I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the hotel. When we got off the elevator on the 5th floor the smell was awful. The carpets was nasty and upon entering our room which didn’t get upgraded as a platinum member there was a used water bottle by the bed the bathroom was not very clean. I think I will be finding a different location on my next visit to Columbus. Also the restaurant wasn’t open, I know it’s Covid but they could have at least had it open for breakfast.

The room was in need of repairs at the time of our arrival. The bathroom had an odor that smelled like it had not been properly cleaned when we arrived. The location of the hotel was good but the value for 40,000 points per night was not worth it.

Stale room; no amenities for a suite

Our "suite" was missing a trash can, remote control to have a functional t.v. and all amenities; mini shampoos, conditioner, lotion, etc. We had a bar of soap (yet no where to throw away the wrapper).
The towels weren't fresh and the baseboards had dust. We believe that room had not been opened and refreshened in quite some time.
Our room was on the 1st floor and therefore we heard the traffic in the parking lot outside our window all night.

Dirty Rooms Disappoint

We stayed in this hotel on the way to Orange Beach, AL and were highly disappointed. One of our parties were shown 3 different rooms before finding one that had been cleaned....the beds weren't made or anything in the first 3. By the time we got 2 cleanish rooms, we still had issues. The coffee maker still had an old k-cup in it, the bathroom counters were not wiped, the floor was not vacuumed, and there were massive stains on the couch. During the COVID situation, they should be taking cleanliness much more serious.

Very disappointed to see staff not wearing masks.Could not see any effort made by the management to make customers feel safe during this pandemic. No effort made to have customers wear masks when checking in. I will not stay here again.
