Welcome to the brand-new Holiday Inn Express. We welcome you with open arms, rather you are visiting for business or leisure travel. We are conveniently located just off I-75 and a short drive to the "Empire City of the South", Atlanta. Need to catch a flight, no worries we are just about 25 miles from Hartsfield International Airport. Our guest rooms were designed to accommodate our guest traveling with family as well as business travel. Our modern design was meant to utilize the most out of space offering our guest more free space in rooms. Join us for a complimentary Express Start hot breakfast to get your day started off great. Don't worry we have your immediate business needs covered in our business center. Need to unwind?, no worries visit our state of the art fitness center or our Spa retreat featuring an outdoor pool. This little town of Jackson is just 1 exit from great shopping at the world-famous Tanger Outlets or visit our local zoo, Noah’s Ark Rehabilitation Center, full of rescued and rehabilitated animals. Downtown has lots of boutique shops and day spas. We are only minutes from Atlanta Motor Speedway. Travelling on business, we are just a few exits from the industrial district of Locust Grove and McDonough. Come allow us to deliver great service and a memorable trip to the Atlanta Metro area. Disappointed about not knowing that there is a service charge of $60 at time of check-in even when using points. Also not being able to take advantage of the 2pm check-out for members is ridiculous. The staff had me ask two different people to decide on this.
Incidentals should be for paying cash, or card, not points

In my previous stay at the beginning of Feb i stayed for one night and suddenly at 2 AM something was very noisy behind the TV wall and it continued for 15 minutes. The second day I informed the receptionist. And last week i stayed for one night as well , i checked in on the afternoon and at the end of the day i noticed blood spots on the floor of the bathroom and i was very disappointed and disgusted. This will be my last stay at the crowne plaza.

Front Desk Failure Sours Visit

When I went to check out, I was not given the opportunity to review a paper bill in advance. When I was given my receipt, after my card was charged, I saw that I was charged for a lunch that took place several hours before I had even checked in. Front desk initially refused to issue a refund on the spot despite the obvious fact that I had not even checked in and said it would have to confirm with the restaurant. When I made clear that I was not leaving until a refund was issued, front desk reluctantly credited back to my credit card the amount of the lunch. But here we are a week later, and while the original overcharge was immediately posted to my credit card, the refund is nowhere to be seen. Cheap nickel and dime behavior that is unacceptable from a "luxury' brand.

This hotel needs updating. Very limited plug-ins to charge electronics. Pool was closed. Luggage cart had a flat tire. Poor over all experience compared to the other Holiday Express we have stayed at.

Misleading reservation

I called to reserve a double joining room, was told absolutely can help you with that. We confirmed where I was going, we booked the joining rooms for one night 2 adults 2 children. I asked several times if we would have the joining rooms upon arrival. This was our only request for this trip. We were arrived, to our disbelief and very disappointed they don't even have double rooms at this hotel. We didn't want to lose our money, so I ended up spended double on another room entirely. We should've left , it was very dirty, run down, bathtub had cracks in the tiles. Not a happy experience for my granddaughters birthday getaway

DO NOT STAY HERE

This hotel is in the middle of a terrible neighborhood. There are people fighting on the streets outside and the ground is littered with drug paraphernalia and human excrement. I blindly trusted the IHG brand when I booked here and didn’t look closely enough, a mistake I definitely won’t make again. The inside of the hotel itself is fine and pretty standard for Holiday Inn, but the price for the location is absolutely absurd and will make me reconsider using this brand again.

Not a good stay

The indoor pool shares water with the outside pool, so it's NOT heated. In the dead of winter. No mention of this on the website. The beds were hard, the TV not a smart TV so we couldn't connect the Disney+ account to use it. We had luke-warm showers, despite being on the ground floor. The black duct tape between the floor and the carpeting was less than attractive, and this was before a water leak broke through the lobby ceiling and caused damage (not to us) and quite the mess. And I killed 3 rather large roaches in the bathroom. This hotel does not meet the usual wonderful stays at a Holiday Inn.

Date, Overpriced Hotel - UNHEATED POLL and FILTHY POOL & HOT TUB

This hotel makes me so sad as it has great bones and could be turned into one of the nicest hotels in the area. However, everything is very dated and the whole hotel needs an overhaul/update/facelift. The room was large and spacious, but VERY OVERPRICED for the condition, the lack of heated pool that isn’t told to guests, along with the non working hot tub/jacuzzi. There was never more than one visible employee working at any given time and we spent 4 days/3 nights. There were times when we waited up to 20 minutes behind a single customer just to be acknowledged or to add an item to our room charges from the market. There were many times we would have gotten items from the market that were just left after waiting forever and not being acknowledged. Breakfast offers a pretty good variety if you’re staying 1-2 days. Anything longer than that and you quickly realize it’s just the same thing over and over and gets old. The hot items could be changed up and rotated to prevent that. In addition, avoid the biscuits and gravy as the gravy resembled cloudy water with no flavor. The pool is advertised as an amenity, yet it was UNHEATED and like ice and the hot tub water was filthy and the hot tub was not working properly. We stayed at this hotel specifically for the pool and hot tub. The Wyndham hotel 5 minutes away was a similar size room, a much more comfortable and updated atmosphere with employees that seem to center on customer service and gave us a room rate of $75/night. Less than 1/2 what we were charged per night at this one. We had originally selected this hotel because the staff at the Wyndham were upfront and honest about their pool being ice cold. After staying at the Holiday Inn College Station, we highly regret not spending the entire time at the Wyndham, as it was a much more updated/ beautiful hotel (interior) with amazing customer service and would have cost us less than half what we paid for most of our trip. The ONLY redeeming factors of this hotel is that the rooms are huge, the breakfast staff were very friendly and attentive, and when finally acknowledged after standing in line forever most times at the front desk, the staff was always very nice and accommodating. If it wasn’t for the friendliness of the staff once they finally acknowledge your presence, this hotel would definitely rate 0/0 stars.
