Beautiful Hotel but has opportunity to be better

- Front Desk employee not available to greet me upon arrival. Was sitting across the lobby by the dining restaurant on their phone.
- Housekeeping was terrible. Had to make several requests to clean, vacuum, refill bathroom items, towels, and to replace the bed lenin after finding a prior quest clothing items in the bed.
- Bathroom tub/shower water tempeture is regulated to a warm/cold setting.
- Fitness center did not have water. The 5-gallon water bottle was on the floor but been empty for days.
For this to be a new hotel facility, it is not being properly managed to the Brand Name.

Very nice hotel. I called for the airport shuttle when my plane landed and they picked me up just after midnight with the airport shuttle and back to the room quickly. Promptly checked me in and after a visit to the snack bar for the best snack bar supper I have seen it was up to my room for some well needed rest. Up the next morning just in time for breakfast and I was off for the day. back for the next nights stay because I liked it so well I drove back across town to stay here again.

Select the Logroño City and enjoy your stay in Logroño, the Rioja wine capital.
Located by the San Miguel Park, our hotel benefits from easy access in and out of the city, just 20 minutes’ walk to the old town’s city centre. Customers enjoy this location because it’s easy to park for free in the streets, safe, and yet extremely convenient to visit the city, numerous local wineries, or go about their business. We also have a parking (fee applies).
Logroño, capital of the Rioja region, is a human-sized city and its 150 thousand inhabitants will make your stop worth your while. The downtown area is vibrant with plenty of tapas, bars and restaurants. We recommend you visit Calle Laurel, after having sighted the many historical traces of the past, including the co-cathedral of Santa María de la Redonda, the San Bartolomé church, and the Arch and walls of Revelín, leftovers of the fortifications of the city from the XV century.
This destination is at a crossroad, including the ones coming from France over the Pyrenees, synonym of the pilgrimage route to Compostela. Logroño has kept its traditions of hosting many passersby, and is well connected should you come walking, biking, roads, trains and even by air!
Enjoy our cold continental breakfast buffet for free with a variety of products, relax drinking beer at the bar and enjoy free Wi-Fi. There are many restaurants around should you feel like not going to the city centre.

Hotel has not aged well

The hotel rooms were very dark and cave like. There were a lot of loud young people running around that echies throughout the "plaza" and as such to all the rooms. We had the "do not disturb" on the door until late morning. We were informed once the maids went by they would not return. When I have stayed at CP in the past they had bars, gardens, and pleasent seating arraignments in the center plaza, Things have changed. We payed more for this place then other properties in the area tgunking it would be nicer. We will not return.

Las habitaciones del hotel muy bien cuidadas y camas excelentes, que pena que el personal del restaurante dentro del hotel sea tan malinchista, andan tras los americanos, a los mexicanos si se acuerdan lo pasan al desayuno, si quieren les ofrecen café, mal por el
Restaurante interno y el Porter peor, una carota de la cajera y meseras, muy tardado el servicio, así no les deja uno propina, no se esfuerzan por atender amablemente ni adentro, ni afuera. Por cierto la alberca fría, descuidada, sucia deteriorada, aprendan del Holiday inn express, el servicio es muy bueno, se supone que por pagar más debería ser mejor, lamentable , allá te dan papitas y acá unos dulces Tommy chafisimas

very noisy hotel and lack of breakfast items

The breakfast was horrible and not as complete as I thought. A lot of noise near my room. I've been to this same hotel chain in Chicago and it was a much better experience. I stayed at this one thinking it would be the same but it was a complete disaster. I tried to ask the reception supervisor but the answer was that there was no more fruit or juice. I have never seen this in a hotel where you pay a lot and don't get the breakfast they say they have. They didn't even have black coffee.

Good service, poorly maintained hotel

The staff was nice but we were highly surprised by the state of the hotel. The rooms and hotel were extremely run down: there was mildew in the shower, the wallpaper was peeling off the walls, the carpet was gross and dirty, the kitchenette had no dishes at all, the bedding was ripped and the stuffing in the duvet was worn out so much so that you could see through it (the extra bedding in the closet was the same), the gym had an awful stench and was about 30 degrees at 5am. To top it all off there was only one elevator working and we heard an employee say it had been out since the fall....we were there at the end of February. That's ridiculous to hear. Waiting for the elevator at peak times was so bad that people were fighting in the hallways over a spot in the elevator. We have stayed at many hotels in the village and they have all been great so we assumed this would be the case here as well. "You can't go wrong with a village hotel"...well we were wrong. We have also stayed at other Holiday Inn Express hotels in the past and have been very pleased with them. Between ski passes and food, we spend a LOT of money each year to be in Tremblant for our ski trips (as well as outside fo ski season - we visit 4 times a year) so we should be able to rely on booking any hotel there and it being up to the same standards as other hotels. We were extremely disappointed and will not be staying at this hotel again. Any of the other hotels in the village are much better than this one.
