Noisy room

The bathroom fan is so loud, clicking noise from the hallway during night and the guest coughing from other room could be heard clearly in the early morning.

Great room and loud outside noise

Room and staff was great.

Location great for our stay.

Breakfast was the worst hotel breakfast. Lack of variety, soggy waffles, very generic.

Pool closes too early and opens too late.

You hear all the outside noise of the city.

Comfy bed but unwelcoming staff

I booked this room online for $145 including tax. When I got there I was told that there would be a $35 pet fee for our small, well behaved, non-shedding dog, which is by far the largest fee any accommodation has ever charged us. When we tried to get food all of the local restaurants were closed, so we looked at the hotel concession stand for something. All they had were frozen pizzas that needed to put in ovens rather than microwaves, and of course there are no ovens in the rooms, so why were they offering them?

The bed was comfortable, but the towels were stiff and scratchy. While in the shower I discovered that there was neither shampoo or conditioner in the wall dispensers. Breakfast offered a variety but did not have much choice in way of healthy options. But really the main reason why I would not go back is because of the obvious indifference of the staff. Everybody we encountered acted as if we were an imposition rather than the reason for their employment. To summarize, the room was too expensive for the amenities, and the staff was not welcoming.

An absolute dump

This was the dirtiest Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in. From the mold covering the bathroom ceiling to the inch of dust on the ceiling fan blades and cobwebs in the corners of the ceiling, the room was absolutely disgusting.

Horrible stay

Upon checking in there was an uncapped iv needle in the parking lot. The cleanliness and condition of the entrance and lobby was absolutely horrible. Our room was infested with lady bugs and absolutely not clean. Headboards and tv had not been wiped off. There was old cups in the Keurig and folio from previous guest laying on the counter. The bulk amenities in the bathroom had not been changed in over seven months which is not brand standard. As a IHG Housekeeping Executive there is no way they follow the 5-s way of clean and I am not sure how they stay open or pass inspection. Absolutely disgusting and would not stay here again for free!

Lack of hot water

I have traveled for 40 plus years and I have never experienced anything like I did on this trip. I had several events to attend in the DC area and was unable to take a warm shower. Totally unacceptable. When I brought the issue to the front desk the response was, the whole building is experiencing the problem. No discussion on compensation. I was not looking to have the room comped but I was expecting SOMETHING. I would not stay at this hotel unless or until the issue is resolved and only after making sure the issue had been resolved. I was also deeply disappointed that I was unable to order from the restaurant for pick up and no room service. Overall I rate this experience Poor.

Need to talk to cleaning staff

I think a better job could be done in cleaning the room especially the bathroom. Also the clock had not been updated to the correct time. It was 1 hour behind. Had i not set my phone clock, I would have been late for my appointment

No hot tub

Pictures show hot tub and they do not have one- super disappointed. Their towels are also very stiff- beds not comfortable- wasn’t impressed with breakfast options unfortunately have liked other ihg hotels more

Have not returned a deposit after 2 weeks

I stayed here one night while traveling south. Not a planned stay and a last minute booking.

The hotel on March 3 took a 100 on a room that was less than a 100. Ok, whatever.

Today is March 17th. They have not released the 100. In fact, citibank tells me that they have maintained the benjamin and that hotel needs to release this.

Seriously, I'm so over hotels and their poor service. My last trip through Europe was not using chain hotels. I highly recommend a diferent route than poor service and high prices.
