Not a good experience

The room was hot. The thermostat kept going up in temperature even though we had it down
I asked The front desk to switch us to a different room, which they tried to do. However when moving to the next floor, it was so full of cigarette smoke that we changed our mind and said no will just stay where were at. They offered to have the maintenance man come and check it out, which he did. The filter was so incredibly dirty and black that he scraped it out with a card instead of replacing the filter. See photo. The pool and hot tub area was nice. We were there for two nights and the carpet was never vacuumed in the hallway. The stairs were never cleaned or swept and the accent tables by the elevators had about a month or more worth of dust on them.

Not as expected and Definitely not a 3 star rating

Arrival was okay until we walked into the hotel
-Dirty carpets
-Elevator had an algae stench- not clean
-Bathroom was dirty, loose tile on the floor, not a clean tub
-Again the room carpet was dirty
-The AC/Heat unit was not working properly

Overall mess, when i told the lady at checkout that i couldn't stay there another night, she did not respond well at all.
Book two nights but was only able to stay one night.

Staff was very rude

Had several issues with reservation beforehand and thought it was handled. Called ahead of time to let staff know we would be arriving late and was told no problem. We then arrive and we were told our reservation was canceled over a month ago randomly. I was able to finally check into a room after being forced to check my credit card at midnight. Staff was rude to entire wedding party during our stay.

Holiday Inn Express Hemel Hempstead is a convenient hotel with free parking. Apsley train station is across the road and Luton Airport is a 20-minute drive away. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Harry Potter films and sip on a butter beer at Warner Bros Studio Tour London, a short drive away. Take the kids to visit over 10,000 animals at Whipsnade Zoo or test your fitness on the obstacles at Ninja Warrior Watford, five miles away.
Explore King Henry VIII’s former home and National Trust property, Ashridge Estate or roam around Batford Springs Nature Reserve or Gadebridge Park for some fresh air. Drive a real Formula 1 car or supercar at Drift Limits Racetrack or practice skiing and snowboarding at The Snow Centre.

Terrible bed uncomfortable too small sheets didn’t fit bed no bath just shower
Staff no knowledgable room was booked for 2 people only 1 set of towels
I’d already requested extra pillows when booking
But it took 2 phone calls on arrival to sort this and then when they arrived they don’t have pillow cases so staff had to take them away to get some I wouldn’t mind but reception had already told me only 10 rooms were. Occupied

Walls and ceiling are paper thin. Spent hours trying to get to sleep, but there was a party above me making noise until 12. Called front desk at 9:50. Nothing changed for hours.
On a lighter note. Staff was fantastic, room was a wonderful layout and cleanliness. View from balcony was relaxing.

Welcome to the Holiday Clark NJ. The hotel is within walking distance to Clark Commons shopping center where you can find shopping, dining, and entertainment. Situated off the Garden State Parkway at exit 135, guests enjoy complimentary parking & Wi-Fi. All rooms include a Microwave and a Mini Fridge and Keurig Coffee Maker. All 192 guests have recently been completely remodeled. Our restaurant is open for Breakfast, Dinner, and Drinks. You may eat inside or outside on our beautiful patio with fire pit and heat lamps for warmth. In addition to shopping, we are walking distance to beautiful parks and trails. We are located near Fortune 500 companies like L’Oreal, Merck, Kerry, DSV, GEP, BASF, Siemens and Turtle. A short car ride takes you to Rahway train station, which goes directly into NYC. We also have over 8,000 sq. feet of meeting space available for meetings, office space or events.

Whenever I travel I only stay at Holiday Inn.. This location did have clean rooms and friendly attentive staff... My complaint is with the way management handled the Covid 19 regulations... I am from out of state but there should have been a special breakfast menu of the items normally offered at the continental breakfast instead of just charging customers for breakfast.... They could have asked at time of checkin what we wanted for breakfast from the special menu. That way the kitchen staff would know what to prepare.

First stay after the outbreak of COVID19. The hotel has
managed to give a safe stay however due to the restrictions the normal activities are reduced (no gym or pool access, reduced breakfast buffet, no room service or bar) giving a less memorable stay than normal.

Buses run to Brentwood from right outside the hotel, and you can drive to the coast at Southend-on-Sea in around half an hour. If you have a flight to catch, London Stansted Airport (STN) is 25 minutes away by car. Our 8 event rooms are perfect for hosting celebrations or business meetings for up to 120 guests, and you can spill out onto the garden patio in the summer. Nearby businesses include Ford, BT and BNY Mellon. The shops and cinema at the huge intu Lakeside Shopping Centre are a 15-minute drive away, while nearby there are animals and family rides at Old MacDonald's Farm. Was put in a disabled room ,ok big but sink and bath very low , toilet was like a large bed pan on stilts ( sitting on own poop). Bright green light in room which doesn't dim or turn off. Apart from that had a good 2 Hours sleep

A modern hotel in a handy south-west London location, with a restaurant, free WiFi and breakfast included
Holiday Inn Express® London - Wimbledon South hotel is within easy reach of central London. Tube trains from Colliers Wood station, right outside, take 25 minutes to reach Waterloo and the South Bank of the Thames. If you're driving, the hotel is 25 minutes from the M25 motorway, and only 18 miles from Heathrow Airport (LHR)
The hotel is three miles from the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club, home to the famous summer tennis tournament and the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum. St. George's Hospital is around 10 minutes' walk away, and you can drive to the shops and restaurants of Wimbledon Village in 15 minutes. Central London's museums and galleries are all within easy reach.
