We are also close to North Beltway Business Park and Raceway Business Park. This Holiday Inn Express reminded me as more like a cheap run down hotel, bathtub was dirty and wouldn’t drain properly, hotel is in desperate need of a make over. Not what I expect from a Holiday Inn Express. Tried to upload pictures but wouldn’t go through.

Comfy stay

Reception staff in the evening and morning didn’t seem too welcoming, seemed like just wanted us gone no very interactive. Breakfast staff were amazing. Few cobwebs in the room but didn’t say anything as the point I mentioned above

Staff is amazing but it’s really run down

Staff did their best. we rented two rooms for our group. Staff from front desk to the cleaners do the best they can. The rooms are outdated minus the beds. The beds were standard holiday inn beds but our room, they started to update the bathroom it looks like and the tile in the bathroom is so slick, our toddler slipped multiple times- so highly wouldn’t suggest this location for elderly or kids.

Poor Service Abounds

I called a week prior to my stay to reserve a table at the restaurant and never received a callback.
I ordered them champagne and chocolate strawberries on the day of arrival and they never arrived
Had to walk to the front desk to get in-room menus
Kitchen didn’t answer phone
Bathroom door fell of tracks
Engineering had to repair the tv after checkin
They charged fees for a late checkout and I didn’t feel valued as a platinum member

Half hearted update

A few staff and a clean bed and bathroom are the highlights of this place. It is old, dark, outlets don't work, carpet needs to be replaced. So if you don't look to close and keep the lights out, you will sleep well.

Great experience at this hotel

I stayed in the hotel the last week in March of 2025. The staff was amazing and very attentive. I loved that they had on-site security as well. The room was nice and clean. When I requested anything from the front desk, I received everything in a timely manner. I had breakfast at the restaurant and it was really good and so was my waitress. The hotel is only a few blocks from Canal street. My only slight complaint was the sliding door to the bathroom did.not lock and if you didn't close it slowly it would roll back open, atleast in my room. I would definitely stay here again! 😃

Great hotel - bathroom cleanliness is an issue

Comfortable beds and pillows. The evening front desk staff was fantastic, can’t say the same in regards to the morning staff. The main room was clean, but our bathroom was gross. The toilet was not being fully cleaned between guests. There was urine on the base of the toilet, and the toilet seat hooks were covered in grime. Soap was on the shower wall from prior guests. Hair and other nastiness was on the tile ledge around the around floor.

Clean, comfortable and Great service

I've stayed at this morel numerous times for family medical reasons. This is the best for having a friendly and caring staff. The ability to have a restaunt in the building or have room service is great for being able to relax during stressful times. Overall, I've found this to be a great motel.
The only thing I would like to see when ant renovations are done is high rise toilets in the bathrooms.

Road Noise / Boom running Noise at Night

The road noise from Rt 1960 was loud and sometimes awakening. If you have to stay here get a back room. Also at night it seemed if someone was running or stomping around. Loud noise that even shook the room. Wife was really upset. Staff, except for man at desk, was great and helpful. Breakfast was good with excellent selection.
