Additionally, the hotel is five miles from the Santa Fe County Municipal Airport ; perfect for those flying in for meetings. Need to prepare for a presentation? Road closure

Called and notified them the roads are closed to Santa Fe could I change my reservation or cancel. They said 24 hour notice expired and hung up need to have better local ownership

Room cleaning very poor

Had previously stayed at this property and it was great. This last stay was awful. The room was so dirty. We checked beds upon our arrival and the sheets had numerous stains on the one bed. We called to have bedding changed. The one housekeeper was not pleasant at all. She was mad because I requested all new bedding on the one bed. I told her to bring it to me and I would change it myself. We ended up buying cleaning wipes to wipe down the room. We did not use the pool or breakfast this time.

Lovely place to stay.

My only complaint is the room. The room smelled like someone smoked in it pretty bad. The light above the recliner chair was bent over like someone tried to hang on it and damaged it. The wall behind thr recliner was damaged pretty badly. The wall behind the toilet also had some damage. If anything I would make repairs of the room and do a thorough cleaning to get the smoke smell out.

No A/C! Hot all night

I had a problem with my A/C. It would only stay on for 3 minutes then turn off. You had no idea when it was going to turn back on, it was random. Sometimes 1 minute, sometimes 10 minutes. It was loud when it turned on and off. I called Shawn at front desk to tell her the issue. She said she would come check out the issue. After 20 minutes she arrived and witnessed the A/C turn off and not come back on. She stated it was too late to move us rooms but she would give us complimentary breakfast for our trouble. She left. I wasn't satisfied but had no choice but to deal with it. In the morning we went for breakfast, and there was no comp breakfast on our account. So not only did we have no A/C and they didn't move us rooms, they lied to us about getting comp'd something. Just telling us what we want to hear so she can leave and not address the problem. We will not be staying at this property again. Not having a properly working A/C is unacceptable. Being lied to on top of it is just rude and shows how you value your customers.

Great Location

Hotel Reception team were fantastic, accommodated an early check in after arriving at the hotel at 07.30hrs and a slightly later checkout time too. Stayed in King Bed Premium 'Freedom Tower View'. The room was larger than any other New York Hotel room that I have previously stayed in. Three large floor to ceiling windows giving great views across the city. Spotlessly clean, however some of the furnishings were a bit dated. I would definitely stay here again.

Very cute Nawlins hotel

Being from New Orleans, I like how much the hotel incorporated the spirit of New Orleans throughout the hotel's decorations and room wallpaper. It was very nice and refreshing. The only issue I had had nothing at all to do with the hotel, but street construction was going on and seems like they started around 6:30am or so.

Multiple things broke

We arrived right at check in time. We were told our room would be ready in half hour things were taking longer because they were only down to one washing machine. We did get in about 20 minutes later. We were then told the pool and fitness room were both broke. We got to our room. The hallway to our room was very dirty. Our room as we entered was fine. I took a shower right away and there was hair in the shower. I then went and got ice and the machine on the 1st floor was broke. For breakfast in the morning. It was a nice spread. They had a pancake machine my kids were super excited. But... It was also broke. 1 of the 2 coffee machines were also broken and the juice machine was also only water. The staff was nice but was always outside vaping if not helping a guest. I typically choose Holiday inn Express over any other hotel. However, this one was by far the worst we have EVER stayed at!
