Dirty Sheets

I stayed in a king room. The person that cleans the room thought it would be OK to NOT change the bed linens. The one side of the bed looked like it had been slept in, the sheet on the other side was crisp and not wrinkled. It appeared the person just folded the bed spread over and remade the bed.

Rooms are outdated and vents in bathroom are very dirty

Room was ok until I discovered the vents in the bathroom were very dirty. I was supposed to stay 2 days. When I discovered the dirty vents I immediately checked out a day early. I requested a refund but the manager refused to refund my money. Very unprofessional not to refund my money.

The Worst !!!

When booking I did not realize that this was a two star hotel or I would not have booked it. It really should have been a one star ! Hotel was old and so there were stains in the tub and things worn out all through the hotel. The hallway floors were full of mud dirt and grass I have NEVER seen that in a hotel before. No breakfast but a microwavable sausage biscuit that looked disgusting and NO MILK at all !! The whole place was gross and needed to be cleaned including our room !! Also people were drinking and smoking right by the entrance as we pulled up to check in.

Welcome to the NEW avid hotel Beaumont. The first avid hotel in SE Texas near Parkdale Mall and McFaddin-Ward House Museum, and minutes from Gator Country & Spindletop-Gladys City Boomtown Museum. Stinky room

I had to stay this hotel paying 20,000 points due to power out at my home. First impression at the lobby, it wasn't bad until I met the clerk at the front desk without mask.
The room was very tiny with big TV. I swipe the floor with a wipe, and it was very dirty. Also. an Ozone generator was running at high set. It was my first time seeing a room with a ozone generator running. I checked the bed. Lots of wrinkle and small stains on comforter, and the pillow smells like dog. I am not 100% sure if it was a scent of human or dog, but it stink a lot. I doubt if they change the bed set every guest checking in and out. I didn't want to stay at the hotel so, I had to check out about an hour after checking in. Then, I spend a night at my house without the power. Because I felt it'd 100 times better staying at my home rather than such stinky room.

Worst manager ever destroys stay

After I reported the tv problem the employee on duty didn’t know what to do, but said he would contact his manager while I was out for an appointment. When I returned he said his manager did not answer his call, so he still didn’t know what to do. This was after I waited 10-15 minutes at the front desk, calling out with another guest for an employee to appear.
The choices were no tv or change rooms. I moved to another room, smaller, with a stale, stuffy odor. It took more than an hour of my short evening to deal with this issue, which was dealt with very poorly by the hotel.
I spoke with the manager the next morning. I’ve truly never encountered a more rude, crass person. Her tone was indescribably disrespectful and dismissive, not at all concerned about losing a long time customer, which she did.
The choices were no tv or change rooms. I moved to another room, smaller, with a stale, stuffy odor. It took more than an hour of my short evening to deal with this issue, which was dealt with very poorly by the hotel.

poor service/poor handeling suring this time

this hotel which I stay at often for my travels here was the largest disappointment this trip. signs say no more then 3 on elevator otherwise if a family of 4 ok. No one listened, I tried to remove myself to use stairs cayuse no one was listening, enforcing anything there and I was the one getting yelled at.
this hotel has gone so far down hill in a year I will not be coming again. restaurant is closed instead of open with guidelines... enforce what you put in print or do not bother having your doors open! safety first and you obviously don't care about safety.

Clean hotel, unfriendly check in.

We booked this hotel at the last minute. After checking in, seemed that the front desk lady could not have been more annoyed that we were even there. I asked questions and received barely any response. I stay at a lot of IHG properties, so this was very unusual. I asked a few questions and felt like it was an absolute bother. No ice available. She told me I could go upstairs and turn on the ice maker and we would have ice in a few hours....8 cubes.
