Enough room and clean

Walking in the hallways it's hot, first room I was in the ac only worked in the living room and not the bedroom. The second room the ac worked in both rooms but never got below 72°

Good Hotel, Poor Staff

Arrived at hotel and clerk was sitting on couch flipping through their cellphone. I asked her if she could check me in. She reluctantly put her phone down and checked me in. Went to room. Good room. Went down to lobby to use the computer. Tried two computers. Both would not work. Asked clerk to show me how to use them in case I wasn't doing something right for these computers. She said :"I guess they don't work". I asked why both don't work, she said she doesn't know. I asked if she knew how long they were not working. She said "No". I asked if she could get them fixed. She said "Not tonight". I said these may have been down all day, and you didn't know it. She said "Sorry". I asked for her name and she said "I don't have a name". I said I would like the name and contact information of the hotel manager. She said "I don't know it". I told her I fully intend to report her laziness, lack of customer care, flippant attitude, and basic rudeness. Worst IHG employee I have run into in all the hotels I have stayed in. A discredit to AVID and IHG.

Rooftop bar is super cool, but it was closed one evening for a private party though.
They even have a skinny pool on the roof, but it was not open yet for the season

Nonfunctioning electronics/Not clean/Lights out

My television did not work. I watched my Laptop. I paid over $400 for one night and had to go without television until approximately pm. In addition, my bedside light was out. I am honestly not sure why I booked here again as I had the exact same issue with the TV during my last stay (search this as I complained then as well and was refunded one night due to this). I honestly just love the location but to pay that much for a room and not have any television AGAIN is insane. I was sure to take video of this occurrence as I plan on filing a formal complaint to IHG corporate. It's just too much money paid to not have the very basic amenities.
Once my TV was turned on, I was unable to fully use it. The staff member said if I wanted to use a certain feature, they needed to contact some kind of tech helpdesk since it wasn't working. The staff member stated that would take forever. At that point it was approximately 9pm. Also, the balcony furniture was covered in spiderwebs.

Nice hotel, modern, clean

Great hotel, clean, modern and nice amenities with a Grab and Go with Starbucks coffee. A nice size pool with bar service. A private beach was great since there were no vendors selling to you on the beach. They also had a bar service on the beach as well. They had chairs on the beach, floating cabanas and a floating slide for the kids. There were stingrays seen in the water on this beach but no incident during our stay. Food was good at the cafe restaurant for breakfast. We used the spa for a massage and wonderful experience, I wished I had booked 2 spa appointments during our stay there. It is a little out of the way to the boardwalk but not that far, but out of the way, it would have been nice if the hotel provided a shuttle to town. You will need to rent a car if in this location to get around if you plan to drive to town or to another beach.
