This hotel is not safe

During my stay, my car was broken into on the third floor of the garage and completely disassembled. My entire interior of a 4 door car was disassembled and removed from the parking garage. The damages are over 40,000 and is most likely a total loss of a car I used inheritance money to buy and was my legacy vehicle I would never sell. I have placed concerns in multiple places and still no one from IHG has offered and help and I am not sure are cooperating with the police. I am completely devastated.

I would not recommend this hotel. It's old & worn out. Lobby furniture was worn & dirty. Bathroom smelled of urine & chemicals. This hotel needs a major remodel. Had old style blackout curtains which didn't stay closed in middle.
Best part was private balcony by the river. Check in staff was great getting us a quiet room. Check out was bad, didn't even ask how our stay was, just handed us the paperwork. Someone ahead of us was complaining about their stay. We paid $40.00 more for this hotel than the other 2 we stayed at IHG. & it was the worst.

I have stayed at many Holiday Inn expresses. My room was supposed to be handicap accessible and I double checked my reservation to be sure. When I arrived, I was not placed in a handicapped room. The clerk showed me a handclap room and it too had none of the standard features of bars or handicap toilet. It was the same as the room they gave me which was not at all prepared for handicap people.

Upscale All Suite Hotel located in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio

A memorable hotel in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania
Holiday Inn Wilkes Barre – East Mountain sets a standard above the rest. Boasting amazing mountain and valley views, the hotel offers two on-site restaurants which include seasonal outdoor igloos in the colder months, plus a lounge. The swimming pool is lap-size, the fitness center very nicely equipped, and the sauna is perfect for a steam after a long day.
Within easy reach of I-81, the Holiday Inn is close to notable local attractions such as the Mohegan Sun Pocono Casino, Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza, and skiing and snowboarding at Montage Mountain, Jack Frost and Big Boulder resorts. If you are a golfer, you will appreciate the proximity to 5 area championship courses. Business travelers will find themselves within easy reach of the area’s business parks and distribution centers.
Weddings are picturesque whether indoors or outdoors, with a ballroom that accommodates up to 200 guests, and more intimate affairs outside on the greenspace and patio.

Staff was rude, I was not impressed.
There were only two towels and one wash cloth in the bathroom. This was a double queen room and the reservation was for 3 adults. When we asked for the appropriate number we were made to feel like we were inconveniencing the staff and were only given an extra towel, no wash cloth.
At the breakfast buffet, there was a "please wait to be seated" sign but we had to wait several minutes for a staff member to seat us. This continued to happen while we ate our breakfast and several other people had to wait for the staff members to seat them.M

Leisure travelers appreciate our hotel's convenient location and access to the city via I-26. Museum Mile, Fort Sumter, Rainbow Row and the historic district is a short drive. Charleston Southern University and Wannamaker Water Park is almost next-door. And while staying with us, enjoy our full hot breakfast, outdoor pool, brand new fitness room and business center.
For our business travelers, we are close to the Charleston Airport (CHS). The North Charleston Coliseum, Summerville, Goose Creek and Moncks Corner are very close by. Business travelers and IHG Reward Members love our hotel.

CNN, why????

This is a good property has lots of potential decent location, but for the glove of God, why do we have to watch the communist news network otherwise no CNN every morning while we try to finish our breakfast for the life of me I don’t understand why properties continue to put CNN on it the breakfast room when it’s the least watched news program in the world if not America ha ha I’m not suggesting you put fox or something else on but how about local network or how about headline news? It’s not fair to ask the majority of America. They have to eat their breakfast in front of the CNN Trump bashing crew that we’ve all grown to detest and hate.

The receptionist was incredibly rude, very unhelpful, lied to booking.com about her behaviour and made us feel very unwelcome.

Unfortunately experience

This is my second time staying at this location and I’m very disappointed. The days I stayed here only one elevator was working and the AC wasn’t working on my floor. Being crowded in an elevator wasn’t fun at all. I also had to call 2x about getting some new towels. I wont be staying at this location in the future. Do better IHG.

Never Again

I will never stay at this location ever again. I always stay at Holiday Inn Express hotels and have always had an excellent experience. Not this time. The hotel is run down and falling apart. Air conditioner didn't work in the room, breakfast was inedible, and staff was rude (except for the maintenance guy). Beds were as hard as sleeping on the floor, tv sort of worked, staff never recognized me as a long time ihg member, light fixtures were rusting, and there were large peices of tile missing from the bathroom walls.
