Disappointing stay at Indigo LES. Room issues, sleepless night from club noise, and poor resolution. As a loyal Indigo guest, I expected better.

Beautiful location on the lake

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel. The location with restaurants that are walkable and the outdoor seating on the lake with a boardwalk was absolutely stunning. I took a picture at sunrise and I painted it. It is just a beautiful property. If you have a chance to stay there, I encourage you to do so.

This is the only Holiday inn I've stayed at, that I will avoid. Upon entering my room there was zero carpet. Just cheap echoey floor that amplified EVERYTHING coming from the hall. I could hear the front desk phone very clearly as well as their conversation. Bathroom had some weird brown spatter stains in the shower and sink. It just felt really uncomfortable. Being woken up by the front desk phone is really annoying. No Ethernet in the room either :(

Very cramped room

We had a room with 1 king bed.
Pros: Staff was great, Hotel and room were very clean and new. Lobby breakfast very nice, lots of fresh, hot, and cold choices, neat and clean. The shower in the room was AMAZING. Really powerful and plentiful.
Cons: The king bed took up nearly the entire room. There was no place to unpack, no drawers, no shelves, no closet. One short narrow countertop, too small for luggage. We opened one suitcase on the floor to live out of, and then really had no place left to walk. My husband and I had to stand aside and let each other pass...it was that crowded in the space. No coffeemaker, no micro.

If you like to watch lots of TV channels, don't stay here!

I have booked this hotel for business trips several times. Regrettably the service and standards are on their way down. The room being serviced later and later in the afternoon, even with phone call reminders to HK.
But my main contention is the TV/Radio on offer.
Only twenty TV channels, some not working.
Even fewer Radio channels, most not working.
I raised this in previous reviews with no change to the service.
The TV is made by LG. Assume this means Load of Garbage.
Why not install Freeview?
I have several trips to London this year, I will not be utilising this venue.
But my main contention is the TV/Radio on offer.

Over charge on my business credit card

I don't use to write reviews, but this a serious matter to share with others to avoid being roped.
Be careful here and always check your billing and bank account if you stay at this hotel to avoid being over charged.
I travelled for a job in that area and stayed for 4 days at this hotel. At the end, I received a bill for those 4 days that was already charged on my credit card. But while making some verifications in my bank account, I found a suspicious extra charge of $149.45 from holiday inn gonzales in my account from this hotel on april 22, 2025. I called the hotel, after a hard time for them finding my stay in their system, telling me that they were not able to find my name in their system, they finally found it after insisting. I was transfert to the manager Mason to who I explained my concerns, at the beginning, he was trying to convince me that they don't have that charge in their system and after insisting and after sending him evidence of that charge trough email. He told me that he will look at it and called me back in about 30 min to tell me what it is going on. After waiting more than an hour and half without any call from them, l called them again and the receptionist pick up the phone, and I had to explain my situation again, l was put on hold for about 5 min, then another receptionist Pickuped the phone again asking what she can do for me, I told her that I was already on phone with someone else to who I explained my concerns about billing issues. After a silence of about 2 min , she replied that the manager said that he found what was the problem and that the unknown charge billed to my account will be backed in my account in 2 days without any others explanation or apologies from the manager.
I think it is very disrespectful for the manager to say that he will give me a follow up call about something that they did wrong and not doing it.And not even talking to me after my call to tell me what happened or apologies for that.
What will be the situation if I didn't check my account? Overcharging in my business accounts and I may be in a bad situation with finance team of our company trying to justify something that I don't know!
What about the waste of time dealing with this issue that may be useful for me doing something else! Is that repairable?
That it is a scaring situation that it is creating a kind doubt in term of trust when it is come to be changed by this hotel!
By the way, I am still waiting for that unknown charge from holiday Inn Gonzales in my account to be backed in my account.
All l will say to others, always check your bank account or bill if you want to stay here. I hope this will help someone else.

Great staff, clean room, but dangerous neighborhood! Anything unattended will be stolen.

The room was good, the staff were helpful and friendly, but the passenger seat was stolen from my motorcycle while parked outside the hotel. The thief would have stolen my rider seat as well, if he had the tools. I could tell someone tampered with it. Then my road trip would have been ruined! It's a good thing I wasn't carrying a passenger.
