Welcome to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Uniontown located next to Routes 40 and 119. We are one of the newest hotels in the Uniontown area. We are located in the Laurel Highlands area and close to many attractions for the nature, history or outdoor enthusiast . Enjoy Laurel Caverns, Fort Necessity National Battlefield, Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater, Ohiopyle & many other immersive locations. We are close to Penn State Fayette Campus and not far from WVU . Conveniently located 46 miles southeast of Pittsburgh PA and 26 miles north of Morgantown WV .

Terrible experience

Arrived at hotel and during the night was awakened by the fire alarm at 3 am. Get downstairs to find that the hotel employee and quit his job and abandoned his shift. Leaving the hotel guest during an emergency. Several guest including myself and the fire chief reached out to management only to have (Jen ) which is her name hang up on us. After about an hour and a half did the other manager show up and we were allowed to go back into our rooms at 4:30 in the morning. I was completely upset because I had to get ready to be to work.at 6am to do a 16hr shift. As a health care provider thus interruption in my sleep affected my work performance that day.

NOT Covid Clean

Upon arrival, 10/15/2020 I walked into the lobby and the employee that was on duty, was on the phone was talking to a guest. All she kept saying was, "check the guide, I don't know. Its on the guide. I don't know what channel it is" (I'm assuming the person she was speaking with had a TV issue) When she got off the phone, she said to me, "some people are crazy" and rolled her eyes. Not exactly something you should say to another guest, in my opinion. She did not have a mask on, so I asked if we had to wear it. She said "I'm not wearing mine, so whatever". Well aren't we off to a good start...
The hotel is undergoing renovations so there is bound to be a little mess here and there, but the lobby looked ok.
We checked in, went up to room and lets just say it was definitely lacking cleanliness. There was a bar of soap still in the shower, the headboard and lamps had dust on them (so you know that they haven't cleaned them in a while) the room/bedding/carpet was musty smelling, the windows were dirty, the door to the room looked like someone tried to break in, the tile on the floor was loose and cracked ...etc... so becasue it was late and we traveled about 4 hours to get there, we sucked it up and just stayed.... the next morning, I did mention it twice to employees and over the course of two days. And no one seemed to really care.
When you get off the elevator, there is a table with a fake plant on it. That table was dusty, again, it hadnt been cleaned in a while. The plant was placed in the middle of the table and my husband moved it to the left side on the first night (Thursday) we were there and it was still on the left side the day (Sunday) we checked out. No attention to detail.
We actually checked out a day early because the rooms are not soundproof and you can hear road noise all night long and the unclean room were just not what we were expecting. Upon departing, I expressed again to the front desk lady that the hotel and the room were absolutely NOT "Covid clean" while pointing to the sign posted at the front desk- she did express concern and said that she would contact her manager. A little late, but at least someone cared, to a degree.
We did not get to go to the pool because of the weather, but i did notice that its a real small pool.
I can't really comment on the breakfast beacause we knew when booking the room that it was grab and go, so not the normal fare. At least something was offered. The positive is that the a/c in the room worked fantastic and the rooms had small balconies and partial views. The hotel was also not in a conjested area, which was nice, but no beach area across the street. Overall, I would NEVER stay here again. It was absolutely a waste of money and Reward nights. No one should have to pay for dirty rooms, especially in a pandemic while advertising cleanliness. Ever.

Had to clean my own room

Check in process was easy and simple, however once I got to my room it was a totally different ball game...my room was not cleaned and when I went to the front desk to ask for cleaning supplies I was handed two bottles of cleaning solution and a rag...not once was I offered a clean room.. when I woke up in the morning there was a coupon for a free breakfast slide under my door with a note attached stating in short, sorry for ur dirty room have breakfast on us...which was nice if I ate breakfast...

The shower head needed cleaning. Water just spritzed out 1/3 of it. Breakfast was just an older banana. I don't know why they couldn't serve individual cartons of milk or orange juice. That has nothing to do with Covid-19.

Do Not Request Room 233

I stayed for a business trip and my room's humidity level was in the 90% range, I was not able to request a new room due to the hotel being fully booked. Some of my coworkers did not have the issue that I did, but some of them did, to which they informed me there were dehumidifiers in their rooms when they arrived. After day one I asked for a dehumidifier since I did not have one and the staff let me know they would find one and install it while I was gone for the day. They also mentioned that most all of them were in use, so this is a common thing for the hotel to have humid rooms. I frequently would wake up needing to empty the dehumidifier and would feel sticky from the moisture in the air. I also kept my room's AC set to the lowest temperature and ran it the whole time I was there.

Outdated and in need of maintenance

This hotel has seen better days. The shower curtain rod and drain were broken. HVAC system didn’t work correctly. The lighting in the room is awful. The bed linens were coarse and uncomfortable. The carpet and fixtures appear to be at least 30 years old.

Our Pampa, Texas hotel provides excellent facilities . Welcome to our choice Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Pampa, 100% non-smoking, located right next to the Pampa Regional Hospital. Vacationing families will love staying at our hotel in Pampa, Texas, located just off Highway 70, because we are convenient to several local attractions. Staff and other guests were not wearing face coverings.
There were drunken guests in the room next to us who were loud. We had to ask for a different room. The shower did not work properly. The grab and go breakfast of a banana, a granola bar, and gummy bears was minimal and unsatisfactory.

Room was dirty

Just needed a place to sleep for the night and barely got that. The room was falling apart, vents weren’t attached, garbage was swept under the beds and bed sheets were not clean, they still had stains and smelled of last person who slept in it. Floors were dirty, seemed like a party was last thrown in that room and whoever cleaned it barely did that. I usually
