“Spare room for family gathering”

Not for the business travelers

Small rooms, no closets, no desk, limited power outlets.
Very nice property if you just need a place to sleep, perfectly located with the mall and all restaurants near by.

A Nightmare

Sorry, but I'm not staying at this hotel again.
Overall, the experience was horrible, so horrible, that I was supposed to stay for 8 weeks, and I check-out and left the hotel by the third week. The noise at night would not let you rest, young people running, screaming, and listening to music at an inconsiderate volume until late at night.

Not what I expected

This was my first time staying at an AVID hotel. I have stayed at almost all other IHG hotels and thought I would try AVID. It does not live up to the standard of the other IHG hotels. The staff was excellent, it was the accommodations that fell short. I felt like this was an attempt to create a low budget hotel, only the room rate did not reflect it. The room was tiny, with less than adequate desk space, only a computer chair to sit on, and no other amenities such as a coffee maker, fridge, or microwave. I was unpleasantly surprised. I will continue staying at other IHG hotels, but I will not stay at another AVID hotel, even if it means choosing other that an IHG hotel.

Comfortable room

The mattresses and pillows exceeded my expectations for comfort. The lighting was good and there was an abundance of outlets for electronics and electric appliances. There was no closet, but hooks and hangers sufficed. A quality iron, a good hair dryer and plenty of towels met my needs. I plan to stay there again.
