Nice hotel but...

Hotel overall is very nice. My only issue was attempting to get sleep in a corner room. The room was fantastic but unfortunately very loud due to it being located next to the laundry and stairs. If you decide to stay here make sure you do not get a corner room.

250 deposit to much

I was charged a 250 accidental which is in heard of for a holiday inn express. 4 days later and still haven’t received my deposit bank into my account yet!

Noisy room

The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed. This would have been a 5 star rating but there was a loud exhaust/fan type noise running constantly. Breakfast options were ok.

The local area provides a variety of championship golf courses, parks, and outdoor recreation. 2020 Christmas

My stay was a bit uncomfortable. For the most part I imagine because of COVID the rooms could not be cleaned on a daily basis. That was no big deal but after being there for three nights I had to ask for service which she handed me a bag of towels. I also asked to have the shower gel container refilled and my bed made. I don't believe I was unrealistic in my wants, but none of my requests were filled. The breakfast and coffee thing was a bit unrealistic. One guy at the breakfast room filling a bag of three items and handing it to you. No self serve coffee or coffee available. The desk clerks every single day and shift had parked under the veranda by the front door so customers could not move easily in and out of the hotel. It is by far not a customer service type of location. I will go often to Lithonia to visit my daughter and stay at this location. I may have to find another. It is unfortunate because there are beautiful amenities surrounding it.

Please clean the shower

Sleep quality is really good.

Over all I would say this time stay in this property was shocking. First of all there weren’t enough staff In the reception, no designated check in for ihg members. There was only one at the reception, so had to wait and there was a co confusion regarding the bill, but the manager sorted it out really quick.and tgere was a cockroach in the room. The linen of the comforter and the bedspread are really old, they are not smooth at all.

Needs better cleaning

Suite was nice. However the common areas were never cleaned. Elevators dirty for our entire 3 day stay.
Nice pool and Fridays Restaurant was convenient for Food. Great location, walking distance to Universal.... took us about 15 minutes.
