Dirty Towels & Ants

This was my second time staying at this property and it will be my last. The bed was comfortable and I slept decently despite the highway noise (my room was on the highway side). The next morning I used the hotel gym which was extremely hot inside with no air flow. Upon returning to my room to shower, I removed the bath mat from the side of the tub to lay it on floor and as if the dirty look to it wasn't bad enough, there were small ants crawling around on the bath mat. It appeared as though the bath mat wasn't clean and one other bath towel in the bathroom also appeared dirty or maybe they were stains. the inside of the tub/shower walls also appeared as though they weren't cleaned or not cleaned properly (soap residue).
I informed the desk clerk of this on my way out and she said she'd add extra points to my IHG account which I never did see.

Pleasant staff, comfortable bed and great location

Interactions with all staff were pleasant and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were quiet - felt like we were the only ones around. The rooftop pool was a nice place to relax when the weather cooperated. The location was great - just a 15min walk to the French quarter or 2mins away from the nearest streetcar. My only complaints: the shower had low water pressure and the water gets scalding hot very quickly. My son burned his arm in the shower.

Love it!!

As an employee with IHG, you would think I would be used to the IHG properties but I was blown away by the hotel! It was so lovely and nice, me and my fiancée went for my birthday and our anniversary haha. The staff had upgraded us and sent up some chocolate strawberries which were perfect! The bed was heavenly, I took a nap as soon as I arrived from my long morning flight. I loved the hotel and the location itself was safe and convenient, can’t recommend this hotel enough! :)

Lights out sleep in comfy awesome bed...

What a great place to stay downtown! The proximity to the monument, and lots of restaurants and the capitol is just down the street too.
The bed was absolutely amazing and allowed for deep comfortable sleep between the visit to Columbus for the architecture tour we were in town to visit.
Looking forward to another stay in the future soon.

Hotel needs a lot of improvements both in condition and staff

The front desk staff was so unprofessional. Barely acknowledged me, was in sweat pants and t shirt and eating their dinner while serving me. My room was dirty, the fridge was a mess, crumbs on counter and floor. Old and beaten condition in room, furnishings and bath. Black mold around tub. Only one cart was offered for luggage and it had a broken frame and wobbled everywhere. Hard to push and turn.

Horrible service

Management is rude! Hotel is not staffed!
Pool was closed and we moved to 3 different rooms to get an air conditioner that worked! Fridge froze all of our food!
