Holiday Inn Express Edinburgh – Leith Waterfront is located on the outskirts of the city, in the cool harbour neighbourhood of Leith, also known as The Shore. Nice hotel in a super location. Situated on a major bus route with a bus stop virtually on the doorstep with services all around the city.
Nice, crisp and very clean interior. Very helpful and attentive staff. Recommended.

Central Verona hotel with a restaurant, an indoor pool and excellent meeting facilities.

Non avrei scritto questa recensione negativa se almeno il problema della welcome amenity fosse stato risolto con prontezza.
Arrivo, check in molto tardi in serata, mostro la tessera come cliente "SPIRE", non vengo salutato come tale.
Mi viene chiesto se gradisco i punti come welcome amenity, accetto e confermo per i punti.
A procedura quasi ultimata chiedo che tipo di stanza ho ricevuto, risposta: "ha una standard",
obietto che da applicazione sono libere camere di categoria superiore, mi viene fatto subito upgrade e mi si dichiara una "junior suite".

La junior suite si è rivelata una stanza di dimensioni assolutamente standard, senza neanche l'ombra di un divano o zona living normalmente presente in una junior suite. Solo il bagno era di dimensioni leggermente più grandi.
La temperatura della camera da ghiacciaia, suppongo perche il riscaldamento fosse spento, lo accendo sperando che in poco tempo la temperatura salga... nulla.
Check out: vengo tenuto in attesa circa 5 minuti perchè delle due persone presenti al momento una serviva un cliente in arrivo mentre l'altra ha continuato nello sbrigare una sua pratica sul banco che probabilmente poteva essere momentaneamente sospesa (non erano infatti presenti altri clienti e nessuno attendeva al telefono)
Fatto check out faccio presente che non ho visto caricati i punti della welcome amenity, mi viene risposto che "passano in automatico al pagamento della notte".
Falso, i punti della welcome amenity passano in tempo reale al loro accreditamento sul sistema IHG.
Almeno questo è quello che accade in tutti gli altri Hotel IHG che frequento.

Innanzitutto mi scuso per il disservizio e la scarsa assistenza avuta al momento del suo arrivo, le assicuro che questo non rispecchia il nostro standard qualitativo e l'attenzione che solitamente rivolgiamo ai nostri ospiti.
Per quanto riguarda l'assegnazione della camera ci tengo però a confermare che si trattava di una Junior Suite come comunicato dalla collega del Ricevimento, purtroppo le nostre camere non sono tutte uguali e a volte variano di dimensioni pur essendo della stessa tipologia.
Resta inteso che ho personalmente preso nota di tutte le sue osservazioni e avviato le dovute azioni correttive al fine di poter sempre garantire il migliore servizio possibile a tutti i nostri clienti.
La ringrazio per il tempo che ha voluto dedicarci e mi auguro di poterla riavere presto come nostro gradito ospite.

Convenient and good value

Excellent place to stay in Edinburgh with choice if eating places across the road at Ocean Terminal. Staff at hotel very professional room was excellent. Breakfast was also excellent and it was good to see a member of staff checking the temperature of the food so the buffet breakfast was as good as if it had just been cooked. Bus stop outside the hotel £1.60 into the centre of eEdinburgh but you must have the right money. The former royal yacht is worth a visit.

I had stayed here previously and had a really bad experience but the management dealt with the issue really promptly and well. This time was back to the usual great service so well done to the whole team you've got me back as a customer.

Great Stay

I stay at this hotel at least twice a week and the service and quality is always the same, "Excellent".
Only small criticism is the bar menu doesn't change and therefore if you don't want to eat in the main restaurant means it becomes a little boring!

部屋が清潔で地下鉄の駅に近く市内へも空港へのアクセスもよい。従業員も新設でフレンドリーだった。朝食の質も高く美味しかった。
