Take a unique journey through a patriotic city with a strong German heritage when you visit Fredericksburg, a treasure trove of American historical artifacts and natural wonders. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites hotel in Fredericksburg, TX is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance to many of the attractions that make this one of the most popular small towns in the nation. Start out in the National Museum of the Pacific War, featuring the Nimitz Museum to honor the city's native son, Admiral Chester W. Nimitz-and it is only three blocks from our Fredericksburg hotel. In the same complex, you can see the Plaza of the Presidents and the Japanese Garden of Peace. Our hotel in Fredericksburg also offers the LBJ State Park, featuring the "Texas White House" and ranch, as well as a living history pioneer farmstead. Also visit Enchanted Rock State Park, with the second-largest granite dome in North America. Get a startling view of nature at the "Bat Tunnel
