Located in the Chinatown entertainment and business district area, which is just 22.6 kilometres from Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. The hotel is within easy access to attractions such as the National Museum, National Monument, and Jakarta History Museum (Fatahillah Square). Shopping at LTC Glodok, Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia, Mangga Dua Mall, Glodok Electronic Mall, Gajah Mada Plaza are all within 4 kilometres of the hotel.
Holiday Inn & Suites Jakarta Gajah Mada offers a variety of room types starting from rooms that are 40 square metres. Meanwhile, for extended staying guests, spacious studios and suites with one or two-bedrooms will make guests feel at home. Extended-stay rooms also feature kitchenettes, a dining and living room area, a washer/dryer, and Nespresso coffee machines

Treated Like Family
Yes, I recommend this property.
This was the second time I have stayed a month at the Holiday Inn Gajah Mada in less than six months. I come to Jakarta to relax and visit friends. I have been visiting Jakarta for about ten years now and have stayed at many nice hotels and airbnbs, but it was at this hotel and staff that have treated me so well that I found my home away from home and have started staying a month at a time. From the start, I have been treated like family. Everyone, for the most part, knows your name. You are greeted with a smile and encouraged to let them know if there is anything I need, just to let them know and they will do their best. Any request I may have is taken care of immediately. I never felt like a number, nor was I ever lost in the masses. I was treated like someone special.
I love my room, it's simple, comfortable, easy on the eyes. I love the high water volume, immediate hot water, the soft and cozy bed, the great view, the big windows, the inside lighting and soft carpeting. The room is always cleaned and re-stocked to perfection.
I would love to make note of the kind staff beginning with the General Manager Tika, who comes around to say hello and chat and makes sure everything is okay. She runs the show and does a great job making sure this hotel runs smoothly. Others that truly always greet me with kindness and a great smile starting with my early morning breakfast are those at the Duta Cafe such as Jimmy, Eca, Yadi and their wonderful supervising staff Shindi, Jeje, Rina and supporting staff, Amel, Ilman, Ritzy, Ocha, Septi, Aisicha, Valen, Indah and so many others at the restaurant. Those working at the Concierge desk, Nova, Fajrin, Ighimm (spelling ?), to those at the front desk, Robert, George, Christy and I can't forget my wonderful housekeeping staff, Lisna, Umi, Daryl, Maya, Feri. There are so many more I would wish to thank, unfortunately, I do not know all by name but at the end of the day, this is a great place to stay due to well kept facility and the very kind staff. I wish to thank everyone there, who have made my stay very easy, enjoyable and pleasant. I have brought friends and they were impressed. They will come back. I look forward to my next stay at the Holiday Inn Gajah Mada. Thank you again everyone!

Nice Hotel at a Very Good Location
Yes, I recommend this property.
I stayed two nights in Singapore and wanted to check out the VOCO Hotel as I have never heard of it but it was at a great location. The bed was very large and made for a very good sleep. The shower had great water volume and pressure. And the room was very comfortable with a nice view. Being an IHG member, I stayed there on points. Upon entering the hotel, I was kindly greeted at registration by a wonderful person name Narin. She was very kind and made me feel very welcomed at this hotel. I would like to thank her for that.
While there, I thoroughly enjoyed the morning buffet breakfast as the staff were very friendly and helpful. On my first evening, it was raining and the concierge was kind enough to offer me a hotel umbrella to borrow.
The only incident was that the thermostat in my room was malfunctioning as I had it set way up to 32 yet it was still very cold. I informed the manager on duty Aida and she was kind enough to offer me another room .. but I only had one more night left and it was easily managed by merely turning off the air con so I decided to stay.
The following day was my check out and the assistant manager? .. Her name is Hanny, was very kind in thanking me for staying at the VOCO. She gave me an update on what they will do to resolve the thermostat issue. She was very kind and had a wonderful and warm smile that would make anybody come back.
The pros outweighed any cons. I would have no problem staying here again due to comfort, friendliness and location.
Thanks to the staff of VOCO for the pretty pleasant stay.

Always a Service with a Smile

Yes, I recommend this property.
I found this facility nicely put together providing all the needs I may require. The room was simple, nicely decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom water volume was great with immediate hot water. I had stayed a month and I found, most importantly, the entire staff from Ms. Tika, Gen. Mgr. on down to Jimmy, Eka, Yadi, Rina, Shindi, Vina, Jeje, Siteri, and other restaurant staffers, to the concierge such as Nova to the front office staff such as Robert, engineers, maids, security were all very warm, welcoming and helpful. They really made my stay a very nice home away from home. They made me feel like part of the family. I will definitely return to this facility whenever I am in Jakarta thanks to everyone.
