The hotel needs a makeover. Everything in the rooms are old with the bathrooms needing to be replaced. Staff were good and helpful.
The buffet was ok but with something was missing. Maybe atmospheric and lack of other guests.

We were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience provided by the Intercontinental Hotel in Tahiti...great, attentive staff; facility was beautiful and well maintained. Breathtaking, huge pool with sheltered lagoon around it. Beautiful location, view of ocean, and Moorea across from Tahiti. Gotta try beach cottages next time we visit. Keep up great work!

We really enjoyed Holiday Inn. Great service and people. Lovely breakfast. Kids really enjoyed the pools and rooms were all up-to-date and clean. Really appreciated the staff service since my son was sick.

Great hotel, but was a bit disappointed that there were no bath robes supplied in the Panoramic rooms.
I pains an additional $80 at checkin to upgrade to a Panoramic room and I was overlooking the Lotus Pool which would have been wonderful but the whole area was under renovation.

Please accept our apologies for the missing bathrobes; for your information bathrobes are supplied in each deluxe panoramic room. We hope you address your concern while in house to our staff and/or manager as they are always here to serve our guests in attentive and timely manners.
Regarding our Lotus swimming pool, it had to be closed following a break in water tightness leading the pool water to leak into the ocean. This was not scheduled and we had to react very quickly. We hope you had the opportunity to enjoy our Te Tiare swimming pool.

Had an amazing 8 night stay without a single issue. All staff were super friendly and available whenever you wanted. Kids were entertained, parents were happy, room was immaculate. We will be returning!

The rooms are positioned to give you a view of the ocean with a super sunset in the background. What I call a million dollar view. The landscape is well designed and maintained. Just a great place for a vacation.

Amongst The Best In The World

Accommodations, design, staff, comfort, cleanliness, facilities, price...doesn't matter what your looking at, every aspect of this hotel surprised me and in a very positive way. I've been to the Philippines, Japan, Guam, Kuwait, Ireland, and so many other countries and I'm from the U.S. This is without a doubt amongst the best hotels in the world. It's got everything you could ask for in a hotel and Without an unreasonably high price to pay for it.
