Beware of Holiday Inn money laundering by charging excees on your card

As staff in holiday inn either did not understand due to poor reading skills or, ashamed to post the comment, they reverted to me saying the reason provided was vague. So here I provide more details to the story.
I stayed in Holiday Inn for 2 nights (11th March and 12th March). On 13th March (early morning at 2.00 or, you can call it late night of 12th March if you want) my credit card was charged for 1 day of stay (don't know if it was for 11th stay or 12th) as they had my card details which I had given during booking in online. Then during my check out (on 13th March), in spite of me showing to receptionist the SMS information of my card already being charged by holiday Inn for 1 night of stay. He asked me pay for 2 nights, saying he has no information of amount charged on my card. So, ideally they have charged me 3 nights price whereas I stayed for only 2 nights. I was informed from Holiday Inn that they would do the reimbursement within next day on the evening of 13th March. But still the amount is not reimbursed to me and Its been more than a week now. I wrote email twice for which I dont have any reply. I get phone call from them everytime after I provide the review in social media and they say that the reimbursement will be done soon. I ask them for an written email stating the same, but they never send one. So, everyone please beware of holiday inn !!!

Great Sleep in comfortable bed

I stay in IHG properties all week. This is by far the most comfortable bed and cleanest room. The staff is friendly and kind.

Great new addition to IHG

A great night's sleep on the best feeling bed ever! Plus the sheets are so soft and comfy! The shower, no tub, is awesome! The rooms are really small but built for the ultimate in comfort. Unless you just want a breakfast bar, this is however, not the place for you. We tried the sandwiches and boiled eggs provided but tasted old and the egg was slimmy. I still give a 5 star because of comfort and the staff are awesome. So glad we got to stay at the first ever Avid!

My Avid stay

I loved the Avid! I didn't enjoy the check in. At 12 they lock the doors and someone has to buzz you in. The staff member was sitting in the lobby watching TV. Then she couldn't find me in the system for a few minutes and when you're exhausted after a long days work this should be faster than what it was. Then 2 days later at 9 am after I had came back from work at 3:30 am, I was awoken by a fire alarm in the hall way 3 times then a hour and a half later the horns in the rooms went off for 6 seconds. Can't really go back to bed after a 85 decibel siren startles you awake. With all that said I did enjoy the room. The black out windows were perfect for me since I had to sleep in. It is very modern and clean.

Un ottimo hotel ad un prezzo concorrenziale

Ho pernottato due notti presso questo Hotel e mi sono trovato molto bene. L’hotel è pulito ed il personale è gentile e disponibile, è inclusa la colazione a buffet che è abbastanza varia. Inoltre il parcheggio è gratuito e la struttura è situata molto vicino ad una delle autostrade che servono la città.
