No where near what I expected!!

I was so disappointed checking into this hotel only because I’ve heard in the past that it was a good stay. I understand that it’s midway but I feel like $20 for parking is crazy. Also as soon as I checked in, went up to my room of course I check for cleanliness all over the bed, bathroom, etc. The bed sheets were completely dirty. Like literally dirt on them obviously they haven’t been changed. So I go to the front desk to complain and they switched my room. This room had hair in the bathroom and there were plates of food inside the microwave 🤮 I was so disgusted and uncomfortable! I deserve my money back! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY

This hotel was truly disgusting in every way. Called IHG to complain and give us another hotel and they refused. Filthy, rundown, nothing worked.

A modern hotel 12 minutes by train from Leeds city centre, with breakfast included, free parking and free Wi-Fi.
Holiday Inn Express® Leeds - East hotel offers easy access to the North via the M1 and M62 motorways , ten minutes' drive away. Leeds city centre is seven miles from the hotel, with fast, direct trains from nearby Woodlesford station. It takes about half an hour to drive to Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA) to catch a flight.
You can host a business meeting or a training day for up to 30 delegates in the Oulton Suite , which has natural daylight, overhead projectors, air conditioning and complimentary refreshments. If you're set for a long day, catered buffet lunches can be provided.
After a meeting, you can treat your clients to a round of golf at Oulton Hall Golf Club , a 10-minute walk away. The shops and restaurants of Leeds Trinity shopping centre and the nightlife of the Northern Quarter are a short train ride away, in the city centre. Or you can explore the country mansion and parkland at 500-year-old Temple Newsam House , five miles away.

Shocking

Rooms were very good, clean, fresh and comfortable. Breakfast with social housing was the problem! Kids running around, over 75% sitting in pyjamas. Some 'ladies' were inappropriately dressed, with gaping dressing gown and not much else! Council guy was interviewing homeless in the hotel lobby, no privacy for them. Their 'worldly goods' all in carrier bags in the hallway. Another couple raised their eyes to heaven and walked out, had I realised we would have gone over to the Toby to eat.
I realise that they need somewhere to live, that isn't the issue here, my issue is that we were not told about it when we booked.
AVOID if you can.

Nightmare NO A/C or air circulation

There was no A/C or air circulation at all in the room. The heat and stale air made the room oppressive. We could not sleep or rest comfortably at 86 degrees plus in the room. Two box fans were provided but did not help. No one warned us about the situation beforehand and were not helpful during the stay!

A modern Newcastle hotel in quiet grounds just outside the city the Holiday Inn® Newcastle - Gosforth Park hotel sits in a peaceful setting close to the junction of the A1/A19 roads. Direct trains run to Newcastle from Cramlington Station, seven minutes' away by car. Business guests are within 15 minutes' drive of Nelson Industrial Estate, Apex Business Village, Quorum Business Park and Cobalt Business Park. The hotel's 10 meeting rooms hold up to 400 people. There's free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Eight electric charging points have been installed supplied by Project EV.
Enjoy Newcastle's nightlife, watch the football at St. James' Park or catch the races at Newcastle Racecourse, all an easy distance from the hotel. Alnwick Castle, where the first two Harry Potter movies were filmed, is 30 minutes' away by car and Bamburgh Castle where Indiana Jones 5 has recently been filmed is 40 minutes' away by car.
Enjoy a walk in the sprawling grounds, clock a few laps in the leisure club's indoor pool or wind down in the spa bath. Residents must book for spa treatments. Please call direct at 0191 2019965. Room not as comfortable as previous stays

Our stay was not as enjoyable as previous occasions.
We stayed in a room that appeared to be wheelchair friendly, despite not requesting or requiring this (orange pull cords, low sockets etc). It was in need of an update, especially the bathroom. Plug sockets were near the floor, and no sockets by beds. Heating very loud. Luke warm water for a shower, I gave up trying to run enough hot water for a bath. Ran out of pancakes and pastries at breakfast. Would like quorn/substitute meat veggie sausages (can be frozen), the staff said the ones available were shaped mixed veg, so I didn't order them. On the positive, pool was well maintained, clean and warm, staff were friendly, beds comfortable.

Our guests appreciate that our Holiday Inn and Suites Davenport is only minutes from Interstate 74, and Interstate 80. We are situated on the primary retail corridor of the Quad Cities, Elmore Marketplace. This shopping center is anchored by HomeGoods, Boot Barn, and DSW, which are just steps from our front doors. Our location is just minutes from many Quad City companies such as, Von Maur, John Deere, Amazon, Rock Island Arsenal, Genesis, and Unity Point Hospitals. We are also close to Palmer College of Chiropractic and St. Ambrose University.
Our amenities will make your experience relaxing and productive. An indoor heated pool, relaxing whirlpool spa, fitness center, complimentary high-speed wireless Internet access are just a few we offer. We also feature 3000+ sq ft of flexible full-service event space. The J-Bar is our onsite restaurant featuring American cuisine with a foodie flair, a full service bar, and patio.
We are located close to many attractions that make the Quad Cities a great place to visit. We are just minutes from the Mississippi River with all it has to offer. Both Rythym City and The Isle of Capri casinos are just a few miles away. If you look to enjoy a concert, or take in some art, the Vibrant Arena in Moline is just across the river, and the Figge Art and Putnam Museums are nearby. If sporting activities are bringing you to the area, we are just a few minutes from TBK Bank Sports Complex, and Hitmen Fields at Epperly Park.

Staff great, hotel room was not

My husband, 2 daughters and I stayed 2 nights. We traveled for a volleyball tournament. The room was overall unclean. The shower walls had a bright red discoloration on each end of the shower (see pics). There was also some sort of spilled coffee/soda on several of the walls in the room. The front staff member (Carmen) was very friendly, contacted housekeeping and provided free breakfast vouchers. Housekeeping did come and clean the shower (was told it was discolored from caulk?) The breakfast buffet was very good and our waitress was wonderful both mornings. Overall, I would stay not here again and would choose elsewhere. My family stays in at least 20+ hotels during the year and the uncleanliness of the room was probably one of the worst we’ve stayed in.

Room 323 has an infestation in the vestibule and bathroom after a shower its roaches galore. Medium roaches in the vestibule of the room both dead and alive. After a shower you are sure to see many baby roaches running rampant across the floor and even in the shower. All against the wall and hiding behind the toilet. They only came out at night which is weird. Otherwise this place was great but I was very uncomfortable during my stay fighting for my life in the bathroom at night against the roaches.
Breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff was kind! Please fix the infestation issue
