Uncomfortable Bed

Hotel was very clean and modern. Staff were friendly the only problem we had was the bed in room 320 was horrible. The bed caved in at the center and the bed frame squeaked with ever move you made. Did not sleep well.

Just 1.5 miles from the San Antonio International Airport (SAT), our hotel features free shuttle services to and from the airport.
Relax in our modern guest rooms; then, explore fun things to do in San Antonio, like the historic Alamo, or downtown shopping and dining along the San Antonio River Walk. Guests will also be minutes from the University of Texas and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. For military travelers, Fort Sam Houston Military Base is just 6.3 miles away, and Randolph Airforce Base is 14.7 miles away.

The little hotel that could.

I thought I was staying at a modern newer Upper price point for the IHG brand hotels. But ...no. Badging signs etc said Crowne Plaza, the amenities and ambience screams old Holiday Inn Express. I had some issues but they were addressed. One rather curtly and the other the staff member thought was my fault, but rather a previous guest. The canteen area was bare, no snacks or bottled beverages, but it slowly filled and was about 40% full after 4 days. The only coffee in the rooms was decaf, it was mentioned every day I was there and the staff shrugged their shoulders, "oh well". Could not find a bar tender in the "lounge" and the breakfast was substandard for even a HI Express and it was $19.
Close to the airport and would be a great hotel if and when they get their act together,

Wild Guests

This property was at capacity the night I stayed. However, about 50 of the guests moved the common area furniture to the edges and were practicing their drill team act. Seriously? Take that behavior somewhere else. The front desk staff should have corralled those guests. It disrespected the other guests. They would loud and obnoxious. Other guests could not use the common area. Others from this group were tailgating in the parking lot including drinking and music blaring. The staff should have taken care of this or offered the normal guests a discount. Ridiculous!,,

Beautiful and comfortable hotel. We had a suite which was very nice. The staff was great and helpful. My only concern was no microwave in the suite however everything else was Very Nice. I recommend this hotel1

No towels, coffee machine or adequate staff

How can 1 staff person be expected to run an entire hotel when rooms have not been properly equipped with towels, coffee, coffee machines and the hair dryer is broken? There was a line of people waiting to check in, people in line wanting towels, coffee machines, hair dryers and people calling the front desk with other problems. I have stayed at many IHG properties in the past, but the lack of staffing and mismanagement at this hotel was embarrassing for your corporation. I am now leery, even as a Priority Club member, to stay at another of your properties.

Terrible hotel

Where do I begin? I stayed at this hotel for four nights for business. On my second night. I was staying on the third floor and suddenly I discovered a mouse in my room. Contacted the front desk and they switched me to a room on the first floor. It was all they had left. That night I was kept awake until 2 AM by a very noisy person next-door, who was constantly talking on speakerphone which I could hear right through the walls. The next day, I was switched to the fourth floor and was once again Having to deal with extremely noisy people. The woman next-door got into a heated argument with a man who I thought was going to turn violent. I called the front desk, but I don’t think they did anything. This noise continued until 3 AM and I have to be be up at 6 for work. This hotel seems to have a lot of permanent residence who really don’t seem to care much about other people. I was shocked to see how much garbage was in the halls along with dirty sheets. No wonder there is a mice problem! I will never stay in this hotel again and I recommend other people to stay away as well. On a sidenote, I stay in a lot of hotels for business purposes and I have never experienced such a bad day in a hotel before. I certainly expected a lot better from Holiday Inn and suites
