It’s was nice and quite great service. Only thing that sucks is for the price of the room you would think they have comp breakfast they dont. They charge $21 dollars per person which I only see as a bad thing with this location

It's the little extras

While for the most part this is your typical run of the mill Holiday Inn it's the little extras that make this place amazing. A walking stick and binoculars free to use, fire pits & smores, watching movies in the pool, excellent views, fresh coffee and hot chocolate in the lobby. Everything was great and I would definitely stay here again.

Convenient Location and Great Staff

This property is so convenient when attending events at Caesar's Superdome and Smoothie King Center. The hotel is only a couple blocks away from the venues, and is a safe, short walk. The staff at this property are extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms and public spaces in good condition, and is just an overall great choice when visiting New Orleans.

Love this hotel!

This is a great place to stay in Grand Rapids! The rooms are great, the restaurant is open and has great food, the staff is helpful. I also love the location. The river walk is across the road, and downtown restaurants are down the street - all walkable. The GR Public Museum and the Gerald Ford Museums are also across the road. SO MUCH to do within walking distance! This is a hotel we will return to many times.
I also appreciate the reserved parking for Diamond Elite guests......it helps.

Terrible experience! This hotel is run down. Our heater did not work and it was in the 40’s. Tried calling the front desk but the phone didn’t work so had to go down. There is a bar or venue near so it was VERY noisy. The towels had holes in them.
They did have a decent breakfast minus the burnt eggs and biscuits.
The man at the front desk that goes by Jr was very kind and wanted to help however the only other room with 2 beds was even louder than the one we were in.
Very disappointed

AC issues

Checked in and immediately noticed AC issues; reported to front desk ; moved us to a bigger room just too have the same result with a very warm temperature room never being an optimal comfortable cool environment
Management brought up a huge fan for the hot room and an engineer came in to insult our intelligence by saying keep the bathroom door closed! Unbelievable situation all together; gave us free breakfast for our inconvenience!
Front desk said manager would call and now back in the states with no compensation

Atrocious customer service

My entire trip to Mexico was ruined by Viva Aerobus. Trying to get Holiday Inn to help me recover a portion of the thousands of dollars I spent for this trip was completely futile. They were not helpful, they did not care, despite being a loyal customer, and I will no longer be spending a single dime at any Holiday Inn. I would suggest nobody else does either. There are plenty of other hotels with a modicum of customer service. Give your money to them.

The staff at this hotel would rather you not talk. Show no compassion for people losing their homes to storms or flooding. They would rather you check in without talking and checkout without your talking. Never said even as little as hello or goodbye!

The staff were nice but not accommodating. When booking I requested a room that I did not receive and was told that I would have to pay more for. But when I agreed to pay extra, I was told there were no rooms available.

Below expectations

Upon checking in front desk staff was very friendly, but from there the stay went down hill.
Keeping in mind that over my career IHG hotels were one of my main stays, so what I am about to outline is unusual.
Both of our rooms smelled musty and of stale smoke, considering smoking hasn’t been allowed in rooms for years makes one wonder on the overall cleanliness.
Breakfast if one desires was a sit down only dining experience in the bar lobby at an additional charge. Considering the rooms themselves were definitely priced on the high side to begin with.
