Rooms need cleaning

As always the staff is pleasant, friendly and attentive and the location couldn't be better. We occupy the same room during every stay and the stains have yet to be cleaned from the carpet and considering the pandemic, I think they are definitely in need. Also, I did not see any Handsanitizing stations at the hotels entrances by the door on the side. Thank goodness I carry my own supply. The bathroom tub was not draining properly and the water filled up in the tub while showering also, there is black mold or mildew around the tub that needs to be taken care of. I'm sure my husband didn't say anything during check out. This location opted not to serve breakfast but did supply us with individual cups of coffee and bagged pastries

Enjoy our centrally located Washington, PA, hotel, located just off Racetrack Road in the heart of the beautiful Washington-Meadowlands area. We are conveniently located to all the area has to offer, including access via I-79 to Morgantown, Southpointe and Pittsburgh. You’re less than one mile away from the Tanger Outlets, The Meadows Racetrack & Casino, the Pennsylvania Trolley Museum and Washington County Fair Grounds. Primanti Bros., Bistecca, Olive Garden, Max & Erma's, and many more restaurants are all a short drive away. We also offer a free shuttle service to the local area. Sarris’ Candies, Washington’s own chocolate factory, will give you and your family something to talk about after sampling their famous candies and ice cream. While you’re in the area, catch a Pirates’s game at PNC Park or a Steelers’ game at Heinz Field. Also, be sure to visit all Pittsburgh has to offer, from Station Square to the nightlife and restaurants. You Can Do Better and Be Safer

We observed on three separate occasions employees not wearing masks. The floor was extremely creaky. The staff also used profanity. Lastly, we did not want or require maid service, but left our garbage outside the door. The first time we did it, it was picked up on that day. The next time we did it, it sat outside the door for three days.

I understand the negative impact of COVID-19, but balancing between quality and quantity is paramount during rough times. I’m writing this complaint because my experience was below expectations. I could not rest and decided to check out on the same day due to (hygiene issues and unbelievable noise) from the house keeping staff. The check-in agent was very nice though, but the evening receptionist could not attend to my request and refused to refund me my money because I did not stay for the night and checked out on the same day.

Not coming back. Bad rooms

Poor rooms. Very sad state of building ........ terrible room service . Had booked of two night romantic get away but ended up leaving after one day as no point paying that amount of money to stay somewhere that’s not nice to stay at.

It is mainly a dim, dismal, dirty trucker motel with an attached Denny's. Probably ok for a dirty little town like Lumberton but little more than a place to lay your head and maybe not get stabbed. maybe.

Definitely needs upgrading

I stay at a lot of Holiday Inn Express locations and unfortunately this one ranks fairly low. The location was fine and the lobby looked nice, although we weren't able to use. The carpet was disgustingly stained, the shower door was broken and wouldn't slide, the towel I started to use had hair and stains on it (not mine). I didn't notice the dried drippings? on the cabinet until the sunlight came through, hopeful it was cleaner. I would have asked for a discount or free room, but paid with points, bummed I used them on this stay. I was so sad to see that there was a brand new Holiday Inn Express just a few miles away. We couldn't wait to get out of there!
The positive was that the staff was very pleasant and check in took no more than two minutes. I didn't complain because honestly I just wanted to sleep and get out of there!

Holiday Inn Wporld Golf Village

Although the hotel was very clean
. When we turned the heat on the heating unit generated enough smoke to cause the fire alarm to go off. The staff said that happens sometimes.
. The coffee maker was so dirty we couldn’t use it.
. The microwave did not function at all
. The refrigerator although functional had rust on the outside and age spots on the outside enamel.
. The caulking was cracked around the exterior of the bathtub.
. Water pressure in the shower was terrible

Lack of supplies & staff.

The first bad impression was my room was not ready when we got there at four pm. Finally got my room around 4:45 to 5:00 pm. Drey did refund $75.00 for this problem, as I requested some type of adjustment since check-in time was 3:00 pm. The tissues in the bathroom was stuffed in the box which made them look like they had been used and not very Co-vid friendly so I threw them away. I also did request for my room not to be serviced due to the fact, I thought we would not get clean towels or wash clothes. This was because the first time I had the room serviced when we got back, we had no bath towels, hand towels, wash clothes or bath rug. So coming back from being out, the first thing I do is wash my hands. After doing so, I looked up to find no linens in bathroom so had to dry my hand on my pants. I went down and asked the front desk for some towels and was told they had run out. At that point I told them this was not acceptable or I was checking out. Then they came out with a bath mat and I told them I at least could dry my hands. I told them I was out of coffee and was told the same thing - they were out. Then I found out only one elevator was working. So even with the refund, and even though the staff was kind, patient and gracious, I do not feel I got what I paid for. They said pets were only on the 2nd floor, but we found out that there were pets on the fourth floor - at lest one dog. So in the past I've stayed at other hotels but always try to stay at a Holiday Inn. But depending on the outcome here, that will determine if I ever stay at another Holiday Inn. This had to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had at any hotel, much less a Holiday Inn.
