The hotel usually makes my stay like in my house.Everyone of front desk always shows warmly welcome every time with nice smiles.Gym is easy to use, always clean and comfortable .Anyway I enjoy my stay in this place.

I booked one week at the Crown Plaza Chaozhou for my father-in-law. He is 89 years old. This is the first time he returns since the past of 46 years. I book 2 room for 2 nights in this hotel. I ask 3 times to make sure that i will receive points for 2 rooms. End up with 1 room point only. The staff promise me that i will receive points for 2 room 2 nights during my stay. I am trying to complain to IHG customers service but no one responsible for this problem.

I recently stayed at Chaozhou Riverside and had a rather unpleasant experience due to very bad urine smell in the toilet. Despite reporting the issue to the front desk multiple times, the problem was never resolved throughout my stay.
Furthermore, as the hotel was fully booked, they couldn’t switch us to another room. As a compensation arrangement, the front desk manager offered to have a table reserved for us for our already paid breakfast. What made us more disappointed was the staff at the restaurant was more about my kid had to pay for the breakfast, and totally disregarded we had a reserved table by the front desk manager, even I have mentioned it twice. We were then seated at some random seats. I was reluctant to believe this could happen to a 5 star hotel like Crowne Plaza, but I am now completely convinced as bad as it could get.
