Felt that the experience is worse than staying in a local hotel. 1) Smoke: Smell of smoke is throughout the hotel lobby and the initial room assigned to me smell of smoke from the room next door. 2) Cleanliness: Soap scum/yellow deposits not properly cleaned in the vanity sink and shower room. 3) For the room rate I have paid, I can get a clean and decent local hotel as compared. 4) Housekeeping not attentive: Have to ask for shower floor mat every night.

The hotel itself is fine, modern, large rooms, clean, at walking distance from HK Convention & Exhibition Centre. The only negative point is the breakfast, as after covid it has been outsourced to a local company and the choice is extremely limited, nearly only Chinese food. A real pity as before covid it was absolutely ok. Upon check-in, having asked about this problem (I had stayed before), the asnwer was that the kitchen is too small. Now, I do not think that the kitchen shrinked after covid, and in any case it is ok for the local company who manages it now. Do not cheat on us, it simply a matter of money. Or not?

I am satisfied with everything offered by this hotel, very convenient location, friendly service, nice and rich breakfast, except their pre-registration service. I received an email before go there, asking me for pre-registration so to avoid lining up when I come to hotel. So I did it and scanned it at the robot in the lobby as instructed in the email. But the system required me to input the same message that I already input in the email again and could not give me any other help to expedite the check-in work. I had to go back to the front desk for platinum customers and complete check-in for any 5 minutes. I would suggest not sending such pre-registration email to any platinum customers anymore since the check-in service at the front desk is much faster and more convenient then doing that on the robot in the lobby.
