Less choices for breakfast & poor room sound proof

I stayed for 3 nights, everyday the breakfast is exactly the same and no much options . Despite the room is clean and tidy, the sound proof thru of room is bad. I can hear clearly the sound of shower and talking in next room. In addition, the air condition doesn’t work, even it is switch on. Overall, this is the worst experience for me to stay in IHG hotels.

As for the air - conditioning problem, we're extremely sorry for the inconvenience. The service was very good. Everyone was very enthusiastic, especially the butler Tony, who helped us a lot. There were also many activities arranged for children. They had a great time. We will choose to vacation here again next time!

When I arrived at the hotel after a long taxi ride, the female staff near the front desk was not very eager to help, even after I asked whether anybody was working at the IHG member check-in desk. Maybe it's my well worn out suitcase or my ski jacket that turned her off. Only after learning more details about my reservation, she started to warm up to my inquiries.
On the other hand, Grace Gao (高傲) at the executive lounge during my breakfast was very much on her game, providing excellent services - even prepared a box of nuts for my trip to the airport and plane ride. It turns out to be very helpful as a snack between meals.
It will be great that excellent service-provider like Grace can rewarded whereas the inadequate service staff would be re-trained to match customers' expectation for InterContinental brand name.
