Check-in was easy and quick and staff was very nice and friendly. Hotel is convenient to get to bus stops and subway stations a few blocks away. Room was as requested quiet clean, and comfortable. Carpets on the hall could use a good vacuuming. Breakfast was all right, however catered mostly to Asians. Rice soup, cold noodles and dressings, green salad, tomatoes and cucumbers, fried rice, steamed bread, and fish dumplings. Some curry choices with vegetables and sauces. Orange juice is Tang, apple juice is watered down with ice, coffee machine only one choice of black small cup. Scrambled eggs are a yellow mixture that doesn’t resemble or taste like eggs. What was described as “bone in ham” is spam, and chicken sausages are little hot dogs. No cheese or hot milk available. Breakfast staff could be a little bit more friendly to customers. Also there are no microwave in hotel and was told by front desk staff to take my food/milk to a Seven Eleven convenience store to warm it up - that was strange and unacceptable. Overall, a great hotel with room for improvement.

Staff at this establishment are always super efficient and go out of their way to help. Check in is extremely quick and appreciate your front desk staff who are always well ahead of the game and have our room keys ready as soon as we walk into the lobby, something I really appreciate especially after a long night flight. Concierge staff, Carver Restaurant staff are always very polite and helpful and go out of their way to assist. Thank you to them all. I have one suggestion which concerns the water machines in the rooms which have been placed in the rooms due to government policies. Would it be possible to get glass (easily recycled) bottles of water placed in the rooms as the taste of the water coming out of the machines is not pleasant ?

Family trip! Chose to stay at InterContinental since it’s super close to Kaohsiung Wonderland. So glad to see Gin still at BL.T33—tried the new constellation-themed cocktails, and they were amazing! Really appreciate his passion for what he does. Verna at reception was also fantastic, super helpful and quick to assist. A short stay definitely wasn’t enough—will definitely be back!

Location was very good, close to where I needed to go. And Metro station right next to the hotel. Staff were very kindly and professional, made me feel warmed. Hardware needs better maintenance and even a refurnish will be good.
