Crowne Plaza Shanghai Jinxiu is always my preferred hotel while having business trip to China. Not forgetting supportive and friendly staff Ms Sunny Li. Room is always made clean with IHG member welcome drinks and fruits.
It will still be my top list of hotel whenever I visit Shanghai for my business or leisure trip
Usually, I will stay overnight in Crowne Plaza Shanghai Jinxiu for the last night of my business trip before heading back to my home country. As usual, the room is extremely comfy and clean. Again, I would like to thanks Ms Sunny Li for the room arrangement. It is still my preferred hotel for my monthly business trip visit to China.

The property is in urgent need of major renovations and much better maintainence. The furniture looks and feels old. The chairs in the main restaurant had no spring left and zero support. The bed in our room had an obvious dip in the middle and was very uncomfortable. It was also impossible to control the temperature adequately in the room, it was either too hot or too cold. The carpet smelt funny and we had to ask for an air purifier (which they provided) to try to remove the smell. Basic sanitation like proper cleaning of the floors in the main restaurant looked chronically and sorely lacking (see photos). Restaurant was also very cold and drafty. We checked out 2 days early.

This is the third time I stayed in Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Centre with my family. Very comfortable and happy, we all love this hotel. Many thanks to the receptionist who helped me with check-in, but I didn't ask her name. She's kind and professional.
