I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. While some aspects of my stay were satisfactory, others fell short of expectations.
Room and Comfort: The room was decent but not particularly comfortable. For the price, I expected a higher standard of amenities and furniture.
Room Cleanliness: Cleanliness was one of the better aspects of my stay. The housekeeping staff did a good job maintaining a tidy environment.
Staff and Service: The service was underwhelming. I encountered issues with responsiveness and attentiveness, which impacted my overall experience.
Value for Money: I didn’t find the stay to be particularly great in terms of value. The quality of service and amenities didn’t match the price.
Sleep Quality: Sleep quality was average. The bedding and noise levels weren’t ideal, making it difficult to rest comfortably.
Food & Beverage: One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The quality of meals exceeded my expectations, and I enjoyed the dining experience.
Ability to Relax: Unfortunately, I didn't find this hotel particularly relaxing. The overall ambiance and service could have been improved to create a more comfortable and stress-free stay.
Overall, this hotel has some strengths, but it needs improvement in customer service and comfort to make it truly worth the price. I’d consider other options before booking again.

Good location, but the room is too small and not clean

good location, close to yangcheng lake. The room is too small. My membership was not recognized by the front desk, no room upgrade, no reception. The room is not clean at all, the carpet was full of dirty things. The TV is too small, as the one in 1980's.

Excellent location. Walking distance to MTR. Rooms were relaxing, clean, comfortable, offering complimentary tea/coffee, robes/slippers, toothbrush/toothpaste, free WiFi. Staff was readily accessible and helpful. Sky bar has beautiful views of the city

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and well equipped and the staff was friendly and helpful. Also, I enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the free laundry room facilities. Plus, the location is convenient. The hotel is a good value for the price.
Unfortunately, I am unable to give the hotel a perfect rating due to two factors - a hard mattress and bad coffee. The mattress was hard as a rock and I sometimes woke up in pain. Also, the coffee at breakfast was bad - very bitter.

Great Location and friendly staffs but improvements needed

When I checked into my room, I noticed urine stains on the toilet seat. Since it was already late, I had to use tissue paper as a cover. Considering the hotel’s high occupancy that night, I decided to wait until the next morning to request a room change at the front desk. However, my request was declined due to high occupancy, and I was instead assured that housekeeping would thoroughly clean the area. I didn’t follow up because I trusted her words, but when I returned to my room that night, the stains were still there.
The next morning, with the help of front desk staff member Cora, I was finally able to switch to a room on the 29th floor. I sincerely appreciate her assistance.
Over the past three years, I have stayed at this hotel for more than 20 nights and have never requested any room upgrades. However, this was the most disappointing experience I’ve had regarding room cleanliness. I hope the hotel takes this issue seriously.

This was one of the best hotels in Shenzhen. With its own beach inside the hotel and all of its rooms facing the sea, the Intercontinental Hotel Dameisha is always the first choice for receation and holidays.
