We already love the Crowne Plaza Macau. This visit was spectacular. The room (upgraded) was large, spotlessly clean, had a wonderful view and comfortable chairs, sofa and bed.

when i stay at shanghai, nowaday i choose this hotel. this is the reason that the location is very close to shanghai hongqiao airport and the train station and exhibition center.

Too a while for taxi to find the main entrance automatic gate. No free parking for guests. Very bad strong smell from the moment stepping out the car, it remains every day inside the hotel where the hotel has to spray lots of air refreshing. Shower water pressure is very low,

Regarding the strong smell, we're continuously working on improving the ventilation system to reduce the need for excessive air fresheners. We're also very sorry about the low shower water pressure, and our maintenance team is checking and will take measures to rectify it as soon as possible. Our hotel, Holiday Inn Express Beijing Huacai, is indeed located in the core area of Wangjing Science and Technology Park with convenient transportation. -My 3rd stay here, and clearly 1st choice in Jiangmen. -There are 3 IHG hotels here. By location, HIE Jianghai is best, HIE Jiangmen East 2nd, CP Binjiang 3rd -In terms of food, this hotel is unique by HIE standards, for normally HIE does NOT offer free evening snacks or free ice-cream (HI hotels don't either--very few have an executive lounge). Such extra gestures of thoughtfulness make one feel totally at home. -Service is excellent & thoughtful, though not everyone is equally informative and articulate. Management staff (in plural numbers) come to supervise (& join) breakfast service at 0800, though there's no necessity to do so. -Some names I've learnt deserve special mention: 小杜(executive staff), 林(front desk), 娜娜(kitchen); part-time: 梅 (breakfast clean-up, attentive, industrious & thoughtful worker), and lady in charge of evening snacks (very helpful). All very pleasant & efficient, but in fact most staff at this hotel are very friendly & helpful.

Regarding the location, although you mentioned it isn't great but acceptable, our hotel in fact enjoys a prime location in Futian CBD. It's adjacent to Futian Port and Huanggang Port, and has convenient access to major transportation hubs like Shenzhen North Railway Station and Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport. Plus, it's close to popular attractions such as Shenzhen Lianhuashan Park and the Window of the World. I am an Elite Gold Member. My wife and I traveled the whole way to your hotel, and we were tired. Without insisting, we were not given an upgrade. At your reception, only Platinium and Diamond members have privileges. We were upgraded to a very nice suite, room no. 1008.
Then we got a phone call from the reception to pay a guarantee. I told them I would do it tomorrow. After eating at your only restaurant on the first floor, the waiter came to our room and asked for a payment of less than CNY100, as we had not paid a guarantee yet. I understand that you do not give credit to everyone, and you must have had some bad experiences. But I am an Elite Gold Member, and I have always paid my bills. To send the waiter to our room was a big insult to me, and I got very angry.
Your reception staff was helpful. I wanted to mention one name especially: the Guest Services Manager, Emily Lou, who helped us send a parcel to Cambodia, gave us information and organized an early taxi at the airport on our departure day.
We regret that only one restaurant was open. The restaurant is very clean, and the staff and cooks were very friendly and helpful. However, a head chef and an egg station were missing at breakfast, so I had to order eggs directly from the cook on duty behind in the kitchen. Without a head chef, the food was ok but not especially delicious. We ate twice a day at your restaurant on the first floor, but you can really improve the quality of the food. We regret that the Chinese Restaurant on the third floor and the Thai Restaurant on the ground floor have been closed.
