Our stay was exceptionally good! We did not expect such patience and service. Zeno Lin provided excellent services. Check-in was quick and the room was comfortable! There are many great places to eat around there. I'll definitely come back next time when in Shenzhen!

It is a big task to imporove the food temperatureof hot stuff of breakfast. Items in menu for common dishes are rare could be selected. Warm water swimming pool is a good measures to attract tourist. I wonder why there is no heating selection for temperature control inside hotel room.

I had to unexpectedly extend my stay in Nanjing because I needed an urgent operation to have a a 32mm gallstone removed. The hotel's reception staff assisted me getting to the hospital and upon my return the hotel staff did everything they could to assist me during the 5 days I had to stay in the hotel before being able to fly back home. Being far away from home, it feels great when you can rely on so much support at a time you need it.Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay at Crown Plaza Beijing Chaoyang U-Town in March 2025. The location is excellent-it’s directly connected to a large mall, which made dining and shopping incredibly convenient. A special thank you to Rebecca Zhao, who was exceptionally friendly, cheerful, and helpful throughout our stay. She went above and beyond by helping us arranged a private driver, Tony who spent a full 8 hours taking us to the Great Wall of Beijing and Summer Palace. The hotel is located near the shopping mall and Daming Lake. It has convenient transportation and complete facilities. I was upgraded to a better room type for free, and the service is very thoughtful. This is my second stay at this hotel, and everything is great.

I am a diamond IHG member and stayed at Holiday Inn Express Shanghai Jing'an Temple on March 1, and had the worst IHG stay I've ever had. My AC did not work and it was an unusually hot March day, but after getting to the hotel late, I decided to just stick it out. After falling asleep, I am waken up at 3:30am by constant phone calls. I hang up the phone and it continues to ring. I answer but hear nothing. I get 5 calls in a row. Half asleep and startled, I go to open the door and an alarm starts going off. I close the door and it turns off. When I open the door again, the alarm starts blasting. I call the front desk, who could not understand english and they come upstairs to my room. They find a bag on the ground next to my door and tell me if has my room number on it but say they can not open it. I'm very frustrated and confused and then a guest next door comes outside and says he ordered food. The guest next door and his companion continue to be very loud, yelling and banging on the walls. Extremely stressful experience after a long day of travel. After getting about 2 hours of sleep all night I explained this to the front desk and they said they'd discuss with the manager. They later contacted me and said they can give me 1000points (equivalent to $5) for the troubles which seemed like a joke(Some places give this as welcome points) I would not recommend staying at this hotel.
