Rooms at this hotel are very spacious and clean. Big restaurant for daily breakfast. I used the lounge in a daily basis for happy hour. Sunny Yong and Luna Pan with their beautiful smiles and warmest attitude made my stay extremely pleasurable and relaxing. I will be returning to this place in about a week. The staff is friendly and helpful. People like them make this place my top choice for business trips. There is great gym to stay active as well.

I recently stayed from 4/4/2025 to 6/4/2025 and regret to share that the experience fell far below expectations. While the location was convenient and room was clean, critical service issues overshadowed the stay:
Housekeeping Communication Failure The housekeeping phone line was nearly impossible to reach—only 1 out of 10 calls was answered. Simple requests like extra towels or toiletries became frustrating tasks. For a hotel of this caliber, such poor responsiveness is unacceptable.
No Child-Friendly Amenities As a parent traveling with a 3-year-old child, I was shocked to find zero child-sized bathrobes, slippers, or toiletries available. The staff simply said, "We don’t provide those." If family-friendliness is advertised, basic necessities for children should be a priority.
Misleading Lounge Access My booking confirmation clearly stated lounge access as part of the room package. However, the front desk dismissed this benefit without explanation. False advertising damages trust, and no effort was made to compensate for the error.

This was my first time staying at InterContinental Suzhou and I had a very comfortable stay. The hotel had a great location, and my room was very clean and comfortable with an amazing view. I was impressed with the quality service, from the front desk to the club lounge. All the staff members I met, especially Mary Xu and Allen from the front desk, and Roiy and Sarah from the club lounge, were all very friendly and helpful in a professional manner. It was a short overnight stay, but I had a very good experience staying in this hotel and looking forward to being back again.

This hotel is located with very good access to the subway system and many good restaurants. All staff, from the front desk to restaurants, are very friendly and provide good service.

Pros: - Excellent location within walking distance from HSR station and the malls - The food is excellent both at breakfast and evening happy hour with good quality and lots of options - Got nice room upgrade as diamond member - New hotel with TV that can be easily setup to connect to your own devices
Cons: - Housekeeping called and woke me up from afternoon nap when I had my DND sign put up. This is an unacceptable practice. Leaving a piece of paper and slip under the door is good enough. I don't understand why they must call and disturb the guests. - Gym is too small and equipment are too simple and lacks variety. - No swimming pool.

I stayed here just for one night and as a IHG member was upgraded to a fantastic room/suite. The hotel was busy with families as the hotel has many facilities for children. Cross the road and you’re on the beach for a great walk or swim. Friendly, helpful staff and a great breakfast. All in all an excellent hotel in a good location.
