I am very disappointed with my recent experience at this hotel. When I made the reservation, both the king room and the twin room were listed at the same price. However, upon arrival, I requested to switch from a king bed to a twin room and was told that I needed to pay a price difference. This makes absolutely no sense, as the prices were clearly the same at the time of booking.

Comfortable hotel, great gym, good service, with improvement needed for breakfast

Overall, I am very happy with the stay in Crowne Plaza Beijing Lido. This is my second stay and will come back again. I've been staying in different Crowne Plaza hotels in Europe and their overall quality is satisfactory.
Crowne Plaza Beijing has nice rooms, great gym facilities, and really good staff and services. The room is spacious with comfortable bed. I have enjoyed using the gym and the gym has more equipment than I expected. I hope to try the swimming pool next time.
However, I do see an improvement needed at breakfast. I've seen other Crowne Plaza hotels serving fabulous breakfast in Europe. In Beijing Lido, more variety of dishes are needed. It would be great to have more fresh drinks and juices, as most juices are concentrated. Only 2 options of fresh juices are available. Sometimes, the food cannot be refilled fast enough. As a long staying customer, I don't see many variants of dishes as most dishes are the same every day. It would be nice to see some different choices of food from days to days. The omelet can be cooked better!
The staff is doing a great job and they are friendly and provide very good service. I highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at the Holiday inn Express in Qingpu as we wanted to spend a day at the close by water town. We arrived early but were permitted to check in which was great. The room was standard and comfortable. As a IHG member I was not acknowledged in any way but communication was difficult due to the language barrier. We also received a knock on the door at 10.30 pm asking for our passports to be scanned which we felt could have waited until morning. The breakfast buffet was sufficient so overall value for the price we paid.

Your price is higher than Cozzi’s, but the stay experience is not as comfortable. First, the room is too small. Second, the lighting is too dim. Third, there was no hot water for the shower in the morning.

Near Central Park MRT station, Central Park, major shopping area. We walked to many places of interest, Muji Dept Store, Kaohsiung Music Center, Love Pier, etc.
Staff was welcoming, friendly, & competent. Breakfast buffet, while small, was very good.
