Hotel Review: Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Island Stay Dates: February – March 2025
Hotel Indigo Hong Kong Island offers a stylish and comfortable stay right in the heart of Central Hong Kong, making it an excellent base for exploring all the city has to offer. With easy access to transport, shops, restaurants, and cultural spots, the location is one of the hotel’s biggest advantages.
We stayed in one of the suites, which was surprisingly spacious by Hong Kong standards, and offered a homely, welcoming atmosphere. The room was well-maintained, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable — an ideal place to return to after a busy day in the city.
While the hotel’s gym facilities were adequate, the rooftop pool — which looked great — was unfortunately closed during our stay. Views from the property were decent, though not quite as expansive as some other hotels in the city.
Breakfast was adequate but unremarkable, with limited options and average quality, but it did the job for a quick start to the day. Where the hotel truly excels, however, is in its staff. Everyone we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and consistently reliable. From check-in to local advice and special requests, the service was warm and genuine.

For the price point, Hotel Indigo offers excellent value — clean and comfortable beds, convenient location, and welcoming service all combine to create a solid choice for travellers looking for a practical, stylish, and reliable place to stay in Hong Kong.

Everything was good. The room condition, view, food and Hotel staff were so nice. However, staff need to be aware of the lounge operating hours. Even though she looked like a part-time worker... And I was a little sad that the fried eggs at the breakfast buffet were not made on the spot but were prepared in advance. Other than that, everything was good. I had a good rest. Thank you.

1st - the air conditioning in my room was a major issue. Despite setting the temperature to 19°C, the room remained uncomfortably warm, making it difficult to sleep. Sweating through the night
2nd - when I requested water, it took multiple calls before the delivery was made. Even though the hotel relies on automated machines for service, the delay and lack of efficiency were frustrating.
Unfortunately, this stay was not as comfortable or convenient as I expected. I hope the management can address these issues for future guests.

Our hotel's central air-conditioning system will uniformly turn on the cooling, heating or fresh air mode depending on the temperature. Recently, the hotel is in the peak of full rooms, the water delivery robot continues to operate at high capacity, and the manpower coordination fails to make up for the time difference in time, resulting in a less than expected service response.
