Room was clean and nice. It had a strong smell of cigarette one of the nights during my stay outside of the room and in the hallway on the 21st floor which is supposedly a non-smoking floor, however it wasn’t a big deal for me as long as it doesn’t smell like it inside the room. The staffs at the breakfast weren’t very approachable.

I stayed in the hotel with my families for one night. The reception staff are professional and the bed is very comfortable. I booked two rooms and only one room was served with welcome fruits. I was disappointed with the outdated facilities in the washroom and the “welcome drinks” which are just normal soft drinks. The breakfast was also below my expectations - some food was not hot; some food has not been added on time; no one cleaned my table during my dining.

I had stayed in Crowne Plaza at multiple locations and this is the first time that I stayed in IHG group with unsatisfied. Overall facility is not meeting expectation and this is the first time that I stayed in IHG group hotel without breakfast provided until the next morning only being notified that my stay with point exchange doesn't cover breakfast but during the system booking and even during check in was not being notify about this uncover breakfast term and condition. That is the reason I cancel my next day booked stay in Crowne Plaza Chengdu City and change to another hotel immediately.
