My experience at the hotel was terrible. I booked a premium room through the website, where you could clearly see the images and descriptions of what the room had. Upon arrival, they gave us a lower-priced room, which had one bed and a sofa bed. When the website described two beds, we went down to complain about what we had already reserved and paid for, and they made us pay an extra $200 as an "upgrade" to give us the room we had paid for. The front desk staff were completely unfriendly. I showed them the reservation and images of the room I was assigned to, and they made me pay extra. Terrible! Never go to this hotel.
I sincerely apologize for the disappointing experience you had during your recent stay. I deeply regret the inconvenience caused by the room discrepancy and the additional charge for the correct room type. The hotel is located in an urban area, close to many tourist attractions. The staff service was very nice and offered us fresh fruit. The hotel has kids playroom and characters such as Super Mario will appear in the morning to say hi and take photo's. The only downside i would say is the room has too many mirror and the night light was too bright which i would recommend to change.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent—every staff member I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and professional. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which made the experience even better.

For the cost, this is a good value hotel. The gym is extremely basic- no weight machines, just treadmills, yoga mats, and some free weight. The breakfast was surprisingly very good. Enough options to choose from but no fresh fruit. It is a 15 minute walk from the metro. The metro stop is near pudong. The shopping area is about 15 minutes from the hotel, there is a mcdonald's and an Aldi's supermarket there(The supermarket is nice and a place you can go to get good cooked food and desserts!!). I would recommend this hotel overall to the budget traveler.

Hotel Manager and Staff Dishonest, Inept, Unable to Solve Simple Problems

I was moved two times from room to room because the bathroom shower was broken. I had a lot of private business to do and attend meetings and I was late to these because I had to deal with broken shower in two different rooms. When I would call reception, they would say over the phone "NO English, No English" and would hung up on me. Absolutely ignoring the guest and they they are obliged to provide service and habitable room with hot shower. They had no problem-solving abilities that even though they do not speak English, although they fraudulently claim that on their app, that they must go to guest's room and try to solve the problem. They hung up on me at least 10 times, and only due to my persistence they in the end came to my room and saw for themselves that the shower was not working in both rooms (in the end they called the repair man to fix it) and that my bathroom was flooded because cleaning lady messed up the sink. The room was incredibly dirty and so the bathroom with dirt, hair and sticky stuff all over the place. Breakfast was disgusting, sour soggy noodles that even locals would not eat, people taking food from buffet bar with their hands, not utensils (I took photo of the man doing that, but I doubt they would allow me to publish it here), staff screaming during breakfast time, no protein ever served for breakfast, only sugar, carbs and fat. Foreigners openly discriminated against by not being given toiletries, welcome drink and lied to by a manager who promised to compensate for missed meetings due to broken shower and flood, and then just ignored me although she had 8 days to provide my compensation. The housekeeper did not wash my shower for 3 days.
