Fast and have early checkin to this new and big room hotel. The receptionist staffs are helpful. Breakfast is simple and good. Have the Washing machine and Dryer to use for free. But this is not at Riverside. We have to take taxi about 12-15 mins to the Riverside(Ganjiang) to watch the Water Fountain Show.

If there is any IHG hotel I should deny, this should be the one. 1. The breakfast is a disaster. No many choices. The milk tastes like water. It doesnt feel like milk. 2. I left my Iphone recharger in the hotel room. The hotel called me and told that they don't call package service for me, even the freight to collect. 3. The parking fee is extremly high, even if you're a guest staying with them.

I requested for a connecting room since I am traveling with my kids and it was granted. The first night our room Is kinda old, and the aircon is leaking. The next day we transfered to another connecting room and it was better than the first one. Staff and their service are superb. I always stay here whenever I come to HK.

Please note that I was with my wife and 2 year old son during this stay.
Here is what I experienced:
1. The Air conditioning was not working for the entire duration of my stay at the hotel. The temperature in my room was 26°C (as shown on the air purifier in the room). When I complained about it I was told that the "engineering team" had switched off the ac as it was cold outside. I was given an electrical fan instead.
2. There were cockroaches in the room 2 of which I killed myself.
3. There is no in-house restaurant or cafe.
4. The staff barely speaks any English and resorts to translation apps for every conversation.
It's so bad that there is no point in calling for room service on the intercom. I had to keep walking down to the reception for everything.
