This location is managed very well, professional stay with courtesy. I've experienced their hospitality with much anticipation during each of my stays. There are many hotels on East Nanjing road but this one is one of the best. I tried four different rooms, each is completely different from another. One is superb, newly decorated but all the others are old, even though two of them are above 20 floors. The new and best rooms should be above 20 floors (21-24 floors) but apparently the rooms are still different. But at lease the rooms have everything you need, I sleep well, the staff is professional, location is the best! Price is good.
However, Shanghai was 35 degrees that day and the hotel didn’t turn on AC so my rooms are 27/29 degrees! Horrible… Asians like me might stand it but I can’t imagine all the hairy whites can stand this at all! The hotel explained that this is still March, they plan to turn AC on in April, but come on, tell summer to wait for this hotel?
Also, after I checked out (it was prepaid), several days later I found there is a RMB 50 charge in my credit card bill! I called the hotel, who told me it was laundry, which I never did! I am so angry and disappointed about this wrong charge.
The hotel manager asked me to write a 8-10 star good review, I was going to, but now I must write this bad review. I hope this hotel can correct these and make it better next time!

The staff provided wonderful service from start to finish of my 3 nights, 2 day stay.
They lent me an adapter to use to charge my devices. And they fixed a clogged sink my first day and another clog on my last. Extremely grateful to their professionalism and promptness.
They also helped with changing currency and calling a taxi to take me to the airport at 5am.
