Filthy and Broken

This place was filthy! HVAC didn’t work. Room was 90+ degrees on arrival. Front desk staff was rude and dismissive when I let them know. They were full and couldn’t do anything they said. Maintenance tried to help when we checked out. We ran the ac the entire time but the thermostat didn’t work- it was either on full or 90 degrees. This place hasn’t been vacuumed in months. No hair dryer in the room-maintenance finally found one. - but what hotel doesn’t have enough hair dryers!?!? The front desk staff were unhelpful/ had sign up saying BRB- they were busy while they stood gossiping or playing on their phones. Breakfast person was nice and accommodating - I only had one breakfast as I was there (along with nearly every other guest) for a marathon and when I called ahead and asked the front desk if they could make the kitchen available early the day of the race they said no- so I brought my own toaster, coffee etc. in the end the breakfast person opened early after talking to some of us on the first day. Fridge in room froze all the food.- like the HVAC no controls - either on or off. They seem to have only one housekeeping person scheduled. I was able to get towels from her and garbage bags one day- but she could never get to our room. This place was under construction but it wasn’t clear what they were doing. The halls, elevator, stair wells, and rooms were filthy with dirt and dust and crumbs and grime everywhere. Small ants or insects in the bathroom. Didn’t look like the floor has been washed in ages. Some ice machines were just missing. There was a disconnected room phone-just stashed in a drawer. They should close completely to clean and complete construction.

Disappointing Stay Despite Great Location

I checked in and was given the wrong room, so I had to go back down to the front desk to get it corrected. Once I got into the new room and unpacked, I found a pair of dirty women’s underwear on the floor next to the bed. Honestly, that was pretty disgusting—and the fact that I found them so easily makes me question whether the room had been cleaned at all. If someone had even glanced under the bed, they would've seen them.
I called the front desk and was told housekeeping would come by. I asked for a different room instead, and to their credit, they brought me new keys right away, which I appreciated.
Unfortunately, the next room wasn’t much better. The remote control didn’t work, and I had to manually turn on the TV and fiddle with the worn-down buttons. Eventually, I got it to work by aggressively pressing the remote until it responded. To top it off, the headboard had glitter stuck to it and a questionable stain. At that point, it was late, and I just had to hope it wasn’t anything too gross so I could try to get some sleep.
They gave me a drink ticket as an apology, but I don’t drink—and the bar was about to close anyway. The next morning, I asked if they could comp my parking instead. At first, the staff member shrugged it off with, “Well, I wasn’t here last night,” but when I mentioned the underwear situation, he quickly agreed to waive the fee.
Honestly, checking out was the best part of this stay. It’s a real shame, because the hotel is in a fantastic location. If they invested in some upgrades and, more importantly, actually cleaned the rooms, it could be a great place to stay and worth the price.

Waste of money

The hotel was overcrowded, the elevator didn’t really work , there was trash bags full of trash outside the elevator, the tv didn’t really work , the room smelled like cheese and had stains on the carpets and the curtains, the phone didn’t worked it was more like a “play phone” I would not recommend this hotel ! The staff was helpful but I would not go back or recommend this hotel

Fort Worth Hotel Setting: Rich Culture, Big Business. Staybridge Fort Worth West is well removed from the busy urban atmosphere of downtown Fort Worth, yet close enough to all of the excitement. The Staybridge Suites Fort Worth West hotel has a calm, suburban setting, with plenty of opportunities presented by the hotel location, and only a short commute to the downtown area and entertainment districts for the hotel guests.
Here in west Fort Worth, there are numerous companies and other corporate opportunities. Nearby are Lockheed Martin that contributes to the construction of the F 35 stealth fighter, BAE Systems, NASJRB, Raytheon, HoltCAT and Ritchie Bros which are all located in west Fort Worth.
The hotel patrons can access the downtown area in minutes via I-30. There are also plenty of entertainment options in Fort Worth. The hotel guests can go see the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium or Texas Rangers, new stadium Globe Life Field in just 30 minutes. The guests can get lost in the rich Texas culture presented by the Fort Worth Stockyards and Sundance Square. The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo occurs nearby, as well.
When you are finished working and exploring, head back to our comfortable accommodations and take advantage of the outdoor pool or release some stress in the Fitness Center. Not the greatest Staybridge.

Chose this property because of location and ease of getting back on the road. No carpet in the room, shower head made a very annoying high pitched shrill, place over all was just very non Staybridge quality. Front desk said the place is full every single night, perhaps that is why they don't have to really care.

Room setup

Great view of the river, but you can only enjoy it sitting on the edge of the bed. To watch TV you have to sit on the side of the bed. There was no TV where the couch is and there were limited channels. 1/2 of them had a week signal and couldn't be watched. Since the bed is now in the front part of the room it is right next to the heater/air conditioner and it blows right on you when trying to sleep. The pilot light on the fireplace is bright and made it hard to sleep.

First stay

The hotel was nice and new but in the morning someone walked right into the room with a pass card, no knock on the door or an apology. I let the front desk know on checkout and there was no apology either. Everything else was good but not sure I’ll stay again because of that experience.

Welcome to Bishop, California where guests enjoy stunning scenery known as "California's Hidden Treasure" We are located in the Eastern Sierra's in between the Eastern entrance to Yosemite and the Western entrance to Death Valley
Whether you are coming to the area to go fishing in our beautiful lakes and streams, or taking a break from hiking the John Muir trail, our hotel is centrally located in Bishop and is within walking distance of most stores and restaurants.
After a long day fishing our hotels offers a 10 minute massage on our Hydro Massage chair, or take a walk to the city park located right next to the hotel. Before you head home you can walk to the famous Schat's Bakery to get your goodies.

One of the more expensive hotels in town but it falls to deliver. The breakfast is just okay and the rooms an update for the prices charged. There are better cheaper options around that deliver the same value.

Amenities and TV not working-having to switch rooms

While we appreciated the close distance from Downtown Omaha where our events were held to the hotel, there were definitely some things lacking.
We checked in, got to our room, fully unpacked everything and then discovered that the TV didn't work. We called down to the desk and a worker came up to solve the problem-however, he couldn't solve it. He called his manager and then contacted us in the room and said the manager just said to switch rooms. This meant we had to pack everything back up again and move rooms which was a huge inconvenience after a full day of driving. No one seemed to be concerned about the effort. One light passing apology for the inconvenience.
Once we got into our new room, we noticed that the flooring was coming up and and the room had a worn look to it.
Then we discovered that the hot tub was not operational which was a disappointment.
For the newer age of the hotel that surprised me regarding the upkeep of the hotel and keeping thins operational.

beautiful property with friendly staff

Spacious room with comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Hotel is well kept and has many areas for groups or families to meet. Large 4 story atrium makes the indoors feel like outdoors. Great spot for a church group, family wedding setting or work group.
