OK for one night
This is an airport hotel, so don’t expect a memorable stay. They do the best with what they have, but some aspects of the facilities need attention and upgrade. The heating system is loud and inefficient, there is a lot of outside noise, the TV quality is really poor. I should have paid max. half of what I paid. But it is really close to the airport, the shuttle brings you directly to the terminal in minutes (it only runs once an hour), and the breakfast was pretty good. The front desk staff were nice too.

Not overly impressed
It was my third stay in this hotel. Everything went as expected but really nothing above and beyond that I usually experience in IC hotels as a Platinum Ambassador. Yes, I was upgraded but it’s not a significant difference as they have many type of rooms with small differences. Yes, I received a fruit plate but it was delivered more than 4 hours after I checked in when I was already away. There was only one very small free bottle of water in the room (I usually get plenty elsewhere with replenishments). When I arrived at 3 pm a used food tray from the next room was on the floor right outside my room. It was still there when I checked out at noon the next day. The check-in experience was great; the check-out less so (“I can help you over here.” “OK thanks.” “Room number?” “XXXX” “Here.” - was the exact conversation - no pleasantries, no thank you, no goodbye). So I feel a bit mixed about this stay.

Our hotel is set back from the highway to provide a relaxed hotel experience. Our hotel is close to Trenton, Florence, Robbinsville, Hamilton, Ewing, Amazon, Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst, JBMDL lodging, Manheim Auto Auctions, Macclesfield Park in Yardley, Friendship Field, Six Flags Great Adventure, Sesame Place, Mercer County Park and Marina, Liberty Lake, Skimmer Adams Field, Arm & Hammer Park, CURE Arena and Patriots Theater. As a Holiday Inn Express should be
This was a one night stay on our way up north. While it was a bit out of our way I intentionally chose this hotel because it was new. It delivered exactly what could be expected from a roadside hotel like this one. The breakfast was surprisingly good - great variety and kind staff.

Great Stopover
No, I do not recommend this property.
Staff were outstanding during our stay. We booked a two-bed room for our 4-year old to have her own bed; once we realized that the other bed was too narrow for two adults we were promptly moved to a king size bed room with an extra bed upon request. After our first paid night we used points for the second, and the hotel was flexible enough to grant us the same paid upgrade to Club that we used for the first night. They implemented a no-child policy for the evening cocktail hours in the Club lounge which families with kids should be aware of. However, the alternative option (full buffet dinner in the restaurant) adequately compensates for it. Overall, We were very satisfied with how we were treated during our stay. The rooms are getting a bit dated but we may just felt it because we arrived from a new and a newly renovated IC hotel prior to this stay. I would not hesitate to choose this hotel when I return to A.D.
