RESORT TAX ADDED UPON ARRIVAL

Upon arrival a $40 resort tax was added. It was mentioned on the reservation but it was not added to the amount due. I prefer doing business with hotels where all charges are added up front on the reservation so I know the exact amount I'm paying. In this day and age, transparency best. The beds were awful they are hard and worn out. The noise from the generator is horrible. Couldn't sleep because of noise of generator. Employees were not helpful on check out. I was trying to converse with the desk clerk and he decided that his conversation with the co-worker was more important.

We always stay at this hotel if we come to pueblo. However this time it was horrible. My asthma was acting up really bad and it was hard to breathe in the room. Come to find out in the morning when the room was well lit there was pet hair everywhere. I managed to take a picture of the chair in the room, it got in my socks on my bed. It wasn't a good night sleep at all. Then both my children have ezcema and were itching. Then I informed management and they told me they put me on a pet floor. I didn't even know that was a thing until they told me at check out and I had no pets with me. My asthma has been really bad still even a day after from breathing it in all night. The front desk offered us a free drink however it didn't make up for my night and lack of sleep and comfort. Also the pool was closed so this was a let down and part of the reason we chose to stay here.The only thing I can say is staff was friendly. Helen the breakfast staff always makes my morning.

Roaches in my room

I have stayed here before, and the rooms have been okay. However, during my recent stay, my room had roaches. I reported this twice; however, the result did not make a difference. Nothing happened.
I do like the hotel and its location, and I hope they improve by ensuring the rooms are ready for their guests.

Bad experience repeated

If you book a room with this hotel expect something to go wrong. I booked a 2 queen suite for two nights on the last stay. They called me back the next day saying they had overbooked the hotel and asked me if I could move to a regular room Saturday. I asked if they could check with somone else, they did and told me I was good in my 2 queen suite for both days. We show up for our stay and check into our room and it was a king. Our stay was awful no other way to put it and this isn't the first time something like this has happened with this property. They in no way offered compensation of any kind for the inconvenience and overall I view them as a black mark on IHG hotels.

An open lobby with the access to the bar and restaurant is the place where you can be among friendly people, boasting a variety of local specialities and cosmopolitan cuisines along with drinks served in a cosy atmosphere. Provide yourself with work-life balance and refresh at our gym and sauna or on the terrace on the 6th floor in the summer months.
There are two large shopping centres around. Galeria Lodzka is within walking distance, and Manufaktura, an old factory converted into a shopping and entertainment centre, is a 15 minute taxi drive from the hotel.
Wladyslaw Reymont International Airport is located only 10 kilometers from the hotel, or you can alternatively take the train from the Fabryczna railway station, 10 minutes drive from the hotel.

During my stay, I had the unique experience of someone (likely hotel staff) walking straight into my room without knocking. Just opened the door like it was their own. When they saw me, they bolted — Olympic-level speed. I reported it, expecting at least an apology or, I don’t know, basic human decency? But nope — radio silence. Apparently, acknowledging their own mistakes isn’t part of the service here. Honestly, if you're into surprise visits and being ignored when something goes wrong, this place is a dream.

Poor quality of service

Must be halloween because I stayed in a roadside motel masquerading as a 3 star hotel, no offense to roadside motels. Over the past week my family and I have been on a road trip and stayed at 4 different IHG properties, not to mention all the different properties I have stayed at over the last few years as a platinum elite member. Out of all these, this one is definitely one of the worst. The room didn’t have any refrigerator or microwave, a staple in any standard room I have been in or have booked ever. The AC didn’t work. We checked in at around 10:30pm (as road trips go), and understandably there was no staff around to fix it. The entire night the room temperature stayed at 74 degrees, quite warm for our 6 month old. There was only one trash bin contrary to the usual 2. No complaints about the room cleanliness or the staff. They were excellent as usual.

Had a visitor from Chile who had never been to Salt Lake. Our refrigerator did not work and the air conditioner came on when it wanted to. The maids and maintenance guy were very kind to my guest and tried to help with refrigeration needs. I ended up buying an ice chest and filling with ice to keep our things cold.

As a Club Member since 2017, I always come early for checking in.
For this booking we came 1 hour early but gained access to our room 21 minutes past the 3 PM check in time. No update was given while we were waiting. When we approach the counter at 3 PM, the staff told us the room is still not ready. The manager was even persuading us to change our room & she was downgrading it!
Do you not have an efficient information system to check your bookings for the day?!?! Is this how a Club Member is treated in your branch?
This is the 3rd branch we visited in the Philippines but you made us feel unwelcome.

The fire alarm went off in my room around 2:00 AM. I was unable to get back to sleep so I checked out. The front desk personwas unable to give me a receipt because she had not run an audit yet. There have been a number of issues with IHG lately. Time to reevaluate.
